Gangtok Hotels with Bars

It was an ok experience. The hotel is a little run down in parts. Service at the dinner rooms were not always the best. The staff are not really bothered and would not give the menu quickly for instance. The room was nice but again it was not in the main block.. there was something missing in the hotels experience. The free evening tea and snack was awful. Yea was made terribly and the snack was tasteless. There are better evening tea service in places with yum snacks. This was plain simple boring and stingy at giving good food. Personally I would not stay here again.

Awesome experience, staff were very courteous, polite & friendly. Hotel has Live band playing English & Bollywood songs in the evening time and has Disco night (clubbing) at the PUB located in basement on Saturday nights, charge is Rs 1000 for male and free entry for female (charges applicable for in room guests also) We got JAIN FOOD on request and we enjoyed the food. View of the valley from the hotel is very good and we had mountain view from our room. Hotel is located slightly far from the market, though not very far. Overall a great experience and I got value for money for my stay

I booked to stay one night with my father. Their staff are so amazing they changed the room immediately as my father could not walk too ***y stairs. So I would like to say their staff and hospitality is top notch. The room was really nice however there was a sound that came from the kitchen exhaust which was like a generator. So until the kitchen shut at 10pm this noise was there. This is the only negative part of my stay. The other suggestion I have is to have some room to do exercises or games room or something. Its an amazing property. Loved it.

We stayed at The Z Retreat & Spa for 2 nights and we had a wonderful stay there. The hotel is away from the hustle and bustle of city life, offering a calm and quiet environment. The room was quite spacious, neat and comfy. We had the room decoration done and it was decorated very nicely. The food there was also good. We had the candlelight dinner and the food & drinks were really good. The food is pocket-friendly. The staff there was very courteous and helpful; they answered all your questions promptly and made sure you felt supported. The Z Retreat is a good choice of hotel to stay in if you are planning to visit Gangtok as a couple or with a family. Thank you.

My family trip with hotel drift was really amazing I enjoyed a lot the location of the hotel was excellent Near Mathma Gandi Road the staff was really good behaved and smile. This year we decided to visit Sikkim. So from Kolkata we travelled to Siliguri, Kalimpong, Gangtok and finally Namchi and back. We reached Gangtok on 23rd May. We stayed at Sonam Delek for 3 nights and I cannot tell you what beautiful stay it was. I was travelling with my Mother, Sister and our three kids. We had booked three apartment suites. I have travelled to many places in the past, but I have never been so mesmerized with the way the rooms were made and decorated. The rooms had this beautiful positive energy and had the most spectacular view from all three sides. The staff at the hotel are very helpful. There is a restaurant within the hotel and the food is quite good. The chef here cooks excellent North Indian food. If you are a vegetarian, you have nothing to worry about. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting Gangtok. I definitely will plan another trip soon.
