Buyuk Velic Hotel

It's a hotel that I don't understand why it has really good reviews. We went to Gaziantebe and came to Syria. Right next to the settlement of people coming from Syria. The city turns gray on the way to the hotel. The looks of people around the hotel are disturbing. It is far from the center of Antep, the rooms are dirty, the toilets are filthy. The housekeepers are Syrian. All the taxis we took in Antep said, ”What are you doing in this hotel? How did you find this hotel?” Sounds of music come from an unknown location next to the hotel until 4 a.m. and the sound of music never lets you sleep. There are constant male voices in front of the room door. We went as 4 girlfriends and we couldn't sleep at all, we were very uncomfortable. We put a chair in front of the door out of anxiety. It is not a preferred hotel. You can add a little more to your accommodation fee and stay in nicer places. The only good thing in the hotel was the attention of the staff at the reception. If you choose this hotel, think 5 times.

As IHG employees, we booked 2 rooms to that hotel, because the price, the benefits and the location of course. For my luck, my friend knows the language. Otherwise there no possibility to communicate. When we arrived around 23:00, wanted to check in, and the man at reception said no English.. Came another one, also no English. My friend asked them about the employees benefits, they had no idea, and said us to ask next day morning the supervisor..try asked him, again no English, and also had no idea and said us to ask the next one. The next one was the same from check in.. My friend called reception to inform that both rooms the safe box not working, no one came.. The day after we asked the cleaners and they fixed them. The same about toilet paper..after 8 hours and after 3 calls the brought us. Also they didn’t helped is when during midnight we needed a pharmacy. They said us to google to find one. Feel so bad when to a 4star hotel you can’t communicate. From the other side a special thanks to the room cleaners.. very polite, very professional all the days.. At room you can find everything you need. Very comfortable and clean. Bathroom also big and all the amenities. The menü cards in rooms was just in Turkish.no English. My friend ordered for us some times room service, food was nice and too much.

The location in the center is very good. The hotel is very clean, the breakfast is great, I would definitely recommend it. The staff is very caring, there is a parking lot, what more can you get, the price is affordable. family hotel. This is definitely the only place I will come to on every business trip.
Ravanda Hotel

Located within walking distance of the old section of town with the local Bazaar and a number of historic local sites and museums, this relatively modern hotel is an excellent chouce. Hot water and a functioning elevator are also pluses, and the breakfast is above average for the region. The nighttime restaurant is mediocre, so dine somewhere else at that time.
Kule Hotel & Spa

Clean and efficient, with good food too, this place is an excellent business stay. Spent a few nights here while visiting on business. There's a huge indoor carpark, and reception is fast and easy. Four lifts keep people moving without delay across the 19 floors (restaurant on F19). Didn't try the pool spa, sauna etc so can't comment on that, but the rooms are really nice. Comfortable bed, room and bathroom.
