This is a dream hotel when visiting Gdańsk

Fantastic stay at Fama. Was a little jubious due to some comments but we took a chance. What a gem! Central is an absolute fact, the service and desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were beyond clean. I suffer from allergies and didnt struggle with dust here. About the noise, it's on the main street, so there are a lot of people so expect some noise if your at the front, but this didnt bother is at all. We certainly didn't need the free ear plugs provided. We were at the very top of the building at the front with a beautiful view. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. We didn't have breakfast, as there are so many lovely places around so cannot comment on that, but the bar next door sells great cocktails and you get a little discount too as you stay at the hotel. Totally safe area, good for solo travellers. For a breakfast tip, go to Pomelo just around the corner, I would book to avoid disappointment! Finally, big thank you to the hotel staff, quick, responsive and super friendly! Perfect.

The location is near the entrance to the old town, but the noise from guests at the bar downstairs is quite loud at night, even until 3 AM. The cleanliness of the room is average; the bed sheets are not changed daily, just the duvet is put back in place. The room layout is average; although the space is small, there is an oversized sofa that makes the area difficult to use.

Excellent location, everything is within 10 minutes walk. Tram stop 2 minutes walk away. Staff are friendly and very helpful,they organised airport transfers for us. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. There was a variety of food available for breakfast every morning. We will definitely stay again.

The location of the building is excellent, in the first part of a very central street for pedestrian only, although this has a sort of downside: at night young people walk up and down the road and talk with a loud voice, and they drink to feed their conversation. The staff is very kind and available. The breakfast is satisfactory, but it could be better.

This hotel is right inside the Golden Gate entrance to the Gdansk old city, so the location is super convenient for walking everywhere, and it is one stop on the tram from the train station. There is a lot happening on the street, but the room was quiet when the windows were closed. The room was spacious and comfortable, and we were glad we stayed there. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would stay there again.

Great hotel ideally located right at the heart of the old town. Friendly staff and a generous, high quality breakfast welcome you as well as well appointed rooms with fridges, air con and tea making facilities. You are no more than 10 mins walk from all key attractions as well as numerous restaurants and bars. Very highly recommended

If you are visiting Gdansk you can not go wrong staying in this hotel, the location is superb just through the golden gate. Taxi's drop you off next to the entrance to the gate and you simply walk through and the hotel is there on the left. The location could not be better, you are within walking distance of all the major attractions and the staff will help you with maps directions etc should you need them. The reception was quick and always friendly and the lift was always available, my room was small but it was the cheapest option if booking again I would maybe go for a larger room but it was clean and comfortable and had everything I needed. Breakfast was never overly busy and had a good selection of hot and cold food, for the money I paid this was a great hotel and I may be returning later in the year and I would stay here again it was that good.

We loved our stay here. It's in a fantastic location beside the Golden Gate - the walkative free tour starts here (on the other side of the gate), the large Christmas market is just on the other side of the gate & the Hucisko bus stop from the Airport is a 5 minute walk. Similarly the main train station is an easy 10 minute walk. Pretty much all the main Gdansk attractions are a maximum of 20 minutes away (Solidarity Museum, World War II museum) with many on the main street where the hotel is. So superb location. Breakfast was very good with fresh fruit (I loved this platter), yoghurts, hams, cheeses, salads, cereals, chia seed pots, breads & hot food. Reception staff were lovely- but also really patient & helpful, helping us download a local transport app & buy tickets as well as helping with bus stops. A definite 10/10 for these staff. We were on the third floor & had no issue with noise, room temperature could be controlled & room was comfortable. The only minor negative was that housekeeping didn't replenish toilet rolls during our stay & a used mug wasn't washed but otherwise the room was made up daily.

I am very happy that we stayed at this hotel! The location is excellent as it is in the center and near the Forum shopping center. It is also close to the train station, bus stops, and taxi stand. If you use Uber, the meetup point is also very nearby. The hotel is very clean and appears newly renovated. The beds are okay, and the water pressure in the shower is good. There is a sign indicating that you can drink directly from the faucet, but I did not try this as I always buy water. The staff is very friendly and gave us free water upon arrival. Street noise is also not a problem since the hotel is located at the end of the street market. Most pubs and bars are situated in the center of the street market. Moreover, I think the insulation of this hotel is good (not perfect, but good). In the worst-case scenario, they have provided earplugs! :D I will definitely come back to this hotel and will also recommend it. You get what you paid for, and the price is not that high

Located in the heart of gadansk and Christmas markets.. spotless and comfy beds .. room temperature perfect as it was freezing out side. Would book again........... If you haven't been to gadansk come here.. my favourite place. Bars and top restaurants in abundance with fantastic architecture everywhere.. buzzing with life ..

Location! Location! Location! The hotel is situated perfectly in the heart of Old Town Gdansk. You can walk to the restaurants, mall, train station and the Christmas Market is right next door. The outside is detailed so beautifully and the hotel is super clean. They have a breakfast buffet option with delicious food. If you don’t like buffet style, they also have a menu for specific dishes. Yes it’s noisy BUT that didn’t bother me at all! I slept like a baby and my room was facing the Main Street. Overall, my trip was amazing and the staff were friendly. Highly recommend!

Highly recomend .Staff very welcoming, nothing was too much bother.Hotel location perfect for walking or using public transport. Room clean, beds comfortable,TV,Kettle and fridge.Delux twin room facing Dluga Street.Did not find noise a problem, on the third floor room 303.Breakfast excelent, buffet style with an abundance of choice.Hotel restaurant very good with welcoming staff ,inexpensive prices.All reception staff fantastic,if they did not know the answer to a question they looked it up for us.Looking forward to a return visit next year.No complaints whatsoever.

FANTASTIC LOCATION! In the heart of Gdańsk Old town. Very friendly staff. Room was small but adequate. Avoid the room facing the street on Fri and Sat (very noisy; ear plugs were provided). Breakfast buffet was wonderful on the the 1st day. Lots of restaurants& shop around.
