M+ Boutique Hotel

Room is decent. Although the noise cancellation can be better. Lady manager at the front desk is kind and helpful.

+ comfortable room and toilet + super value for money. We stay only one night upon arriving at Johor as its only to rest and sleep. We reached late, so thought it would be cheaper to book here. This is just a tip for those who are travelling with tight budget + got breakfast spot nearby. Mamak stall which open 24hr, so its convenient + 15min away from Legoland - shower abit hard to switch from the pipe mode to shower moe - iron has burnt mark which need to be careful. I would suggest hotel to change to steam iron - outside parking area has bad smell, but small matter as you ll be there for few minutes only. Maybe they should move the garbage bin abit far away

Good location to stop over for my final destination, I enjoyed my stay and the receptionist is very helpful.

Hotel is clean, good for short lay over.

Overpriced two stars hostel Booked a deluxe room with twin beds which is more costly than a standard room with a single queen size bed, but the reception initially gave the latter to me. Had to insist a change as the standard room is too cramp for two persons to move around - the bed occupied almost the entire space. The venue - I refused to call it a hotel - though look new on the surface, one quickly realised that it is not well maintained. For examples, the door could not automatically closed properly but requires some force to close it due to some alignment issues; the walls are full of hairline cracks and the shower water got stagnant easily and quickly. See my photos attached. For the same price , I could have easily gotten a similar room in a nearby 4-star hotel - the Ibis.

Room is clean and nice but outside of the room, the lobby and corridor area had a weird smell. Also, wifi was totally not working the whole time i was there. A big plus is right next to the hotel, there wqs a huge food court with a lot of local food options late into the night, BBQ chicken wings were superb, a must try!
