Comfort and good location....will come again....?........

Location wise is convenient, particularly on local eateries around the vicinity. Room cleaniness is tip-top with housekeeping services commendable. Basement carpark layout has been nicely designed, easy to enter & exit. Gurney bay is available right in front of the hotel for leisure walk or jog (or bicycle) overlooking the sea at the side. Swimming pool is simple, nice, clean & well maintained, not so crowded as to compared to Batu Feringghi hotels during festive holidays. Buffet breakfast quality is reasonably OK & quite tasty overall, main items were more or less keep changing daily for my booked 4 nights stay. Thus, will always have something new to look forward to every morning, especially from young kid’s’ perspective. However seafood buffet dinner was a bit over-rated with exorbitant charges, MYR200++ per person for adult. Frankly speaking, the variety of seafood items offered were not matching with the bill at the end of said dining experience, not worthed-it. Room service - Beef burger patty & Satay (chicken & beef) meat were quite dry & not juicy, hence not enjoyable. Nonetheless, Spaghetti wagyu beef balls & Nasi goreng kampung were tasty & delicious. Overall, Marriott brand quality is generally satisfactory. The only improvement which can be considered is in terms of of food quality & variety (more choices) wise, otherwise it won’t match the high price charged whatsoever.
