2) The hotel has a parking lot (it is recommended to park directly in the hotel parking lot after arriving in Ghent) and it is convenient to go anywhere
3) The hotel has its own great restaurant and bar, young and fashionable

The hotel is beautiful. Each room has a different design. The big bed is comfortable. The breakfast is delicious. But the room I got had a wardrobe that was a bit too high. The safe was also high and not convenient to use. The capsule coffee in the room was delicious.

It was a beautiful hotel and the room is so spacious and nicely decorated. I enjoy my drink at the bar and rooftop too. It would be nice if there are some activities to do at this lovely hotel. Staff are friendly too. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ghent.

What a beautiful hotel! Rooms were very tidy. The restaurant was completely booked online. When checking in, I was asked if it was possible to reserve a table for 2. Luckily this was possible! And what a wonderful restaurant (recommended!) The breakfast the next morning was also well arranged. Friendly staff and a good location (5 minutes and you are in the heart of the center) We will definitely come back here!

Absolutely stellar experience at the bar of Hotel Yalo in Gent . Roy, the bartender, crafts his cocktails with such precision and creativity that each drink becomes a memorable experience. If you're in town, make sure to swing by and enjoy one of Roy's masterpieces!

Strange/mixed stay really and possibly we expected more, The rooftop bar was a nice addition, and somewhere we enjoyed a few drinks, The main bar aesthetically looked amazing and was big - always lots of space, Carparking - great that it is below the hotel but €32.00 per 24 hours seemed very high even for a city centre, We booked a room with a terrace which was on the 5th floor, the room size was OK but the layout was a little strange. The terrace was huge but they only provide 2 small, low chairs and a tiny table. We expected the terrace to have more of a lounge feel but ultimately, we didn't really use it as it's just a huge balcony with no furniture. Might have been unlucky but being on the 5th floor directly below the roof terrace meant most of the day/evening/night you just hear a constant beat from the sound system base (not the end of the world I guess but annoying). In hindsight, we wish we chose a normal room without a terrace and moved to a lower floor. Overall we paid a little more for a nicer looking hotel but we would probably just use the IBIS next time which was closer to the centre and cheaper.
