I stayed at Maxxroyal in Bodrum from June 26 to July 2, 2024. Generally, the hotel is very luxurious, with a great beach, pools, gym, and many amenities. However, we found a few serious problems with our room as follows:
There was a panel that divided the room into two sections. One side faced the windows and was very bright, while the other side, which included the bathroom, mirrors, and closet, was extremely dark with very poor lighting. We could hardly see our clothing, and the magnifying mirror was fixed, so we couldn’t move it to the brighter side of the room.
There was a step a few meters from the window without any lighting or sign, making it easy for anyone to trip when stepping towards the window.
The labels on the switches were black on a black background, making them difficult to read without turning on our mobile flashlight.
There was no shelf for towels.

I had the most wonderful time in Maxx Royal Bodrum. The resort is stunning, the landscape, the beach, all the flowers and plants. Burcu took me on a tour the first day! Muharrem Acar made me laugh so much! My room was first class, and very stylish layout, with a big comfortable bed. The spa and the gym was at outstanding quality. I was there almost everyday. Huge range of weights and equipment, classes and pool. I loved the sauna and the cold plunge, the salt room and the coloured showers. The 24/7 restaurant had incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff, Erhan and Emrullah Akkurt were outstanding. The Turkish breakfast was so beautiful with lots of little wonderful plates of food. My favourites on the menu were the Gavurdağ Salata, the sea bass, chicken paté and the borscht. I also loved the Turkish wine Urla. I also had assistants via WhatsApp, which was very convenient, Tuğberk and Nazifa helped me with everything from calling a buggy and laundry bags. I loved lying on the beach listening to the house music coming from the restaurants behind, sipping tasty cocktails, and feeling like a star. The water in Bodrum is very clear and fresh. You can see fish swimming around your feet! I feel like my soul has been kissed.

It was an amazing experience. My partner and I have been to quite a few hotels around the world, but I believe this is the first hotel that I would like to share my review on. The food is banging, the weather in early September is perfect and it is also not too crowded in September. The only surprise in the hotel is the prices in the restaurants, which remind me of prices in Switzerland :) Personal assistants Can and Burku are always happy to help, especially Can. The dedication he has is stunning. Every single request from us was delivered perfectly. I would highly recommend visiting Maxx in Bodrum and if you are lucky, you will get Can appointed to help you out in all your requests!

Нашей семье очень нравится сеть отелей Макс Роял . Решили открыть для себя Макс роял бодрум . С собой взяли дочку 3 лет . Если вы привыкли к Макс роял Белек или Кемер , это совсем иная история . Начну с особенностей : Территория скромная , холмистая и много лестниц . Коляску с собой взяли , но она простояла в номере. Номера специфичные , в темных тонах .с очень неудобной лестницей , об которую легко споткнуться . И стеклянной перегородкой в туалете, что тоже вызывает неудобства . Зато очень классный балкон с диванчиками и прекрасным видом . На территории абсолютно нет мест прогуляться -кроме как между ресторанами или спа или детским клубом . Нет ни открытых площадок с местами для отдыха , ни парка , ни детских площадок., ни спорт площадок. Отель работает по системе завтрак . За неделю он очень приелся. Нет никаких блюд с рыбой на пару или мЯсом. Только немного нарезки , либо копченый лосось . По сути там выбор либо яица в разном виде , либо каша , либо блины и сырники . Все. Шведская Линия это овощи , фрукты , соки . И иогурт . Из десертов на завтрак тоже только булки разных видов и Десерты с тестом. Ягоды ребёнку собирали с украшений сырников 😀😀😃 . Вообще я бы отметила очень скудное детское меню . Например делают куриный суп и кладут грибы или порезанные салатные листья 🍄;( или так называемые кефте-котлеты будут как люля -кебаб жирные . Нагетсы и сосиски отвратительные . Хорошая только рыба сибас с пюре и овощами на пару. На завтрак в шведской линии есть детский сок , пюре hipp, и цельные яблоки груши для перекуса . Очень много блюд из теста - пицца , паста , хлеб бесконечный с маслом . Нужно разнообразить детское меню . Еда в ресторанах обычная, не претендующая на свой прайс. Для примера цены такие ;бокал апероль около 4000 руб , пицца 3000-4000, паста 3000-4000, кофе 1000, суп 2000. Бокал вина от 1500. Мясо , рыба от 4000 . Салат от 3000. Ещё хочу отметить, В номер через щель в двери внизу заползали муравьи , и огромные чёрные жуки. Ещё на пляже и в ресторанах прилетают огромные осы пчёлы, по вечерам стаи Комаров. Но есть у отеля и ряд неоспоримых жирных плюсов . Вся территория и места очень живописные, стильные. Продуманно многое . Сервис багги очень удобный . Такого спокойствия, релакса, тишины я давно не видела. Отель очень тихий, красивая бухта. Тёплые комфортные бассейны , красивый чистый и большой спа . Рыбки в море как на мальдивах , можно покормить их с пирса . И шикарный огромный детский клуб с его замечательными аниматорами. Вся команда очень классные , добрые и весёлые ребята, ребёнок не хотел уходить из детского клуба. Они делали поделки, делали браслеты, слаймы , играли в разные игры , переодевания в костюмы , игра в футбол , и конечно мини диско . Дарили ребёнку принадлежности для игры на пляже , шарики , сюрпризы. Я такого отношения к детям не видела ни в одном отеле . Это действительно очень здорово, видишь что ребёнок отдыхает и хочет вернутся вновь. это действительно бриллиант в этом отеле . Ребёнка с 4 л

Entire team, starting from Ms. Esra, who was our stay assistance during most of our stay, was extremely friendly and competent. You can very rarely have this level service even in best hotels around the world. Congrats to the whole team and the management. They set the gold standart for the industry. Property is also top notch, with lavishly decorated rooms and public areas with a gorgeous beach and two decks to the sides of it.
