Mandarin Oriental, Bodrum

Our stay in Mandarin Everything was excellent however the prices of the restaurants in the hotel is expensive! The beach restaurant is way too overpriced. The menu is in euro however when we get the bill it’s in Turkish lira which makes us not know what’s the actual price due to the currency change.

Nice but comes with a price tag The Mandarin Oriental is located at a marvellous coast line. Currently quite a few construction sites cause some noise. The facility is spacious and well equipped with minimalistic interior design. Unfortunately there is a shared balcony with no separation. Accept some plants which provide no visual cover to the neighbouring apartment. The Hakasan restaurant has a stunning location but the prices a far above market value e.g. a plain pakchoi dish cost 25 euro. At the morning buffet two times the bread was molded. The service was sometimes very slow but always friendly. Be aware: Prices are displayed without VAT which means account for roughly 50 % in addition to the prices shown. Over all a nice place but there are other competitive offerings upcoming nearby like the loft Bodrum.

Front desk was kind of offensive or difficult lets say. We experienced that our supposedly dedicated assistant does not show up after showing around in an extremely fast forward way, you can’t even reach him by phone. Except these two, rest was very good

Great experience in Mandarin Oriental Bodrum.The best hotel is Bodrum. I spent 9 days in the hotel with my family. The hotel is new and has a nice atmosphere. Mister Cuneyt is one of the best managers I met during my travels. He understood quick we need a quite location,he took care about this request very professional. The hotel has nice restaurants and we liked the main restaurant. They are organized and have great cuisine,the view is amazing. Everyone who works there makes an amazing job. They also have shisha that is a nice part of the evening. I wish to highlight the shop/little market in the hotel. They have everything you need daily or high-end cosmetics,sun cream or souvenir. Lots of toys for the children. Wonderful shop please check it out! You will be very happy. One thing I would name as possible improvement that you could notice guests that few shops and restaurants close mid October. Maybe next season they decide differently. Over all the best experience in Bodrum! Also one of the best Mandarin Orientals I visited in the past 9 years. This Mandarin Oriental had the best managers and team!
