Rats, Rats, Rats. I stayed here the beginning of November. When laying in bed and I seen something move through the mirror under the bed around our luggage, it was a rat! My BF chased the rat into the connecting suite and put a towel under the door and went and told the front desk.I complained about rats in the room to the front desk three times. The first time they said they’d let management know. Second time I was told by a gentleman that it’s just cold outside and rats come in, which was followed with a shrug. The third time I asked for a refund checking out and was told that I had to call corporate and she didn’t really seem to care. I called corporate who told me to call the manager at the hotel and then was told to call the third party I booked with. Totally fair. HOWEVER I was refunded TWENTY DOLLARS on a 200$ stay. The hotel staff is saying I lied about telling them three times (one time should have been enough for a refund but i digress) even though I can point out the staff I told and refuse to give me the name of the man who checked me in which should be time stamped with name or initials or who was working in that time. (The man who checked me in was the first to be told about the rats) the staff is very unprofessional and refuses to be honest or helpful. I called them a total of five times trying to get a refund at which trip.com (who I booked through) told me they are in the wrong but they can’t make them refund me. The hotels disregard for pests in the rooms and even less regard for their guests is appalling. The third party I booked with is escalating the concern up the chain. Just fair warning if you expect a clean and pest free stay with staff who are friendly, this ain’t it.
