Convenient for Grange as well as the Lakes. The accommodation was excellent. My room felt very homely and my hosts were extremely eager to ensure I had everything I wanted. The breakfast was excellent and my hosts were kind enough to ensure I had gluten-free sausage and toast. I really enjoyed my stay.

We were delayed due to breakdown in the motorway making us delayed by 8 hours. Telephoned the property to update them as thought I would have to cancel. Owners were very understanding and allowed us to arrive early hours in the morning. Lovely and clean. Very friendly and breakfast was lovely . Will definitely stay again.

My wife and I booked in to this guest house for two nights. The owners, Peter and Linda made us feel realy welcome. The room was a good size, clean and comfortable. The location was ideal for visiting places in the south lakes. The breakfast was very good and filling. We would definately consider staying here again.

What a fabulous guest house run by Peter and Linda, gave us fabulous room 2. Every thing you needed, we could not fault one thing! We had a fantastic weekend in a very comfortable bed. All amenities needed for a great stay. Spotlessly clean ,excellent breakfast choice from fruit juice, yoghurt, fresh fruit salad, full breakfast ,just ask and you received it. We will be staying here again without a doubt. thank you to Peter and Linda for looking after us. No trouble parking just arrive at guest house and Linda or Peter will show you their parking places at the back. See you both again Kind Regard Eleanor and Peter McCabe

Just getting ready to leave this beautiful B & B we have had an absolutely lovely time there is nothing I can say bad because everything is 100% spot on breakfast bloody lovely cooked to perfection also fruit yogurt cereal nice pot of tea fresh juice the hosts are lovely people very welcoming make you feel more than comfortable and a lovely little doggy met us when we first came on Friday room we slept in was beautiful lovely comfy double bed nice two seater sofa to relax on with a nice comfy chair to sit at window and admire the view lovely on suit with a big double shower place is spotless like I say just nothing in any way to complain about cracking little chippy two minute walk away which does the best chippy tea I have had in a while five minute walk from the prom will definitely be coming back lovely little place to relax and enjoy your weekend away from home

My wife and I are relocating to the area and are so very happy that we came across Birchleigh Guest House . The owners Peter and Linda made us very welcome and were a fountain of knowledge about the area .The bedroom was immaculate and the Breakfast was cooked to perfection especially the heart shaped mushrooms .I very rarely comment on Tripadvisor but when you come across people that go the extra mile in pursuit of delivering a pleasant experience for their customer's then I feel it should be shared .10/10
