Not one of the best we've been too, we booked for a week and were originally put in a room which was very dark and dimly lit. We asked to be moved which Lynne helpfully obliged and moved us to a room overlooking the 'Firth of Clyde' and left a complimentary box of chocolates which was a nice gesture. As for the evening meal on our first night we were extremely disappointed, my wife's meal didn't look very appetising and was of poor quality, amongst other issues my wife asked for a irish coffee only to be told the machine had been cleaned and this was only at 8pm. This ment we had to find somewhere else for our remaining six evenings. To be fair the staff were in general very pleasant

Upon arrival first impression is to turn around and go else where the building is dated and scruffy looking , including the old brewers fayre , then reception are gets worse the carpets are a disgrace as they are in every hall way with patched repairs , room was better although the chairs where stained sleep was nt great something was getting knocked all the wall in the room opposite when they were walking around. No milk available until next day for tea and coffee . Would I stay here again definitely not

Not unlimited, informed there was no bacon. Then told have to wait as it was being cooked fresh. 5mins later it was on the table, luke warm, not all fresh cooked, and small portions of beans and mushrooms.

Restaurant very poor service paid for cooked breakfast then told only continental availability for one day, wrong meals delivered ordered steak pie chicken delivered argued it was right, cut it open still argued! Asked for dessert menu they never came back for the order then closed the restaurant, when challenged they laughed about it! Then refused to change the bill to one bill instead of individual as they couldn't however it was to push us out the door for closing

We have used Premier Inns for many years and always very good until this one. We arrived and I thought the building was derelict, so run down. We went inside a small dirty reception, staff were pleasant. Rooms needed a serious revamp thankfully only staying one night corridors also dark and everywhere needed a good clean. Lovely view from the window but again dirty window. We paid for breakfast the next morning, arrived at 9 and waited staff eventually came out but again restaurant was dirty staff seemed bored and not interested couldn't hardly say good morning. The plates were cold and so was the food not a good start. This hotel must be one of your worst and for £89 for the room then £10.99 for breakfast is was too expensive. We certainly wouldn't be back.

Breakfast food especially the scrambled eggs looked and tasted as if made from WWII powdered eggs.Evening meal I was shown my table then it took another couple coming to the next table before the waiter was asked if he could take my order after sitting for 30 minutes. The restaurant was not busy.
