Sandals Dunns River All Inclusive Couples Only

It was a wonderful experience all the way around. The food across the resort was excellent. The Friday Beach Party is definately a "DO NOT MISS!" from the entertainment to the food it was a great experience. To preface this review, we traveled with a member of the family with mobility issues. The Dunn's team was very helpful with loaning a wheelchair for trips "up the hill" to the rum bar/zuka/coffee shop. But it doesn't seem like there are golf carts available for anyone staying in the rondovals or going up the hill to the spa/restaurants. We flew into OCJ and while the airport is smaller and closer to the resort, it is definately not mobility friendly. While we had requested an wheelchair porter from american airlines months ago, there seemed to be a lot of confusion about this at the airport. The sandals lounge is nice at OCJ. The rooms were lovely- but seriously what is Sandals' issue lately with bathroom DOORS? it seems like all of their renovations lately have removed doors from the bathrooms. Bathrooms have no doors or only glass doors (sometimes not even frosted) into the toilet rooms! Come on Sandals - you have to know by now that sometimes romance is enhanced with a bit of privacy for certain activities. We ended up hanging beach towels over the glass to provide a bit of privacy - which I don't think enhanced the decor much, but it did allow both privacy and light control if someone wanted to use the restroom in the middle of the night without waking up the partner. Even public-space restrooms at Dunns only have lightly frosted glass doors. Please Sandals- bring back doors! Thank you! *Tonishae/King - wonderful dining experience *Marsha- definately a morning person! Always a smile at Odessa for breakfast *Latona rum bar- Thanks for taking such great care of us and you were spot on with the pictures! *Shanakay spa- absolutely wonderful massage! You have magic hands!

The staff at this resort were amazing. They couldn't have been more accomodating and friendly. We have been to a number of Sandals resorts and this one stood out because of the wonderful staff! Lateesha Zuka was amazing and Trudy Ann when we had a small problem and she went far above and beyond to make it right for us. Tenesha, Seymour, Andre, Demario,Kyle and Antoinette were great bartenders. The crew on the catamaran boat excursion, Akeem, the captain and the other mates that I can't remember their names were soooooo much fun!

Our stay at Sandals Dunn’s River was nothing short of extraordinary. My wife and I chose this resort as the destination for our wedding, and the entire experience exceeded every expectation we had. From the moment we arrived until the moment we departed, we felt genuinely welcomed, celebrated, and taken care of in every possible way. First and foremost, the wedding team was absolutely incredible. Tonii-Ann and Rheanea went above and beyond to make sure every detail of our wedding was handled with care and precision. Planning a destination wedding could easily feel stressful, but they made the entire process smooth, organized, and joyful. They truly made our day feel special. During the wedding itself, Fitzroy and Romaine served as our wedding servers and were phenomenal. Their professionalism, attentiveness, and warm personalities added so much to the celebration. They made sure everything ran seamlessly and treated us with incredible hospitality. The food across the resort was outstanding. Every meal felt like a highlight, and the variety and quality were consistently excellent. One of our favorite spots quickly became the Rum Club, where Gabriel and Jashayne provided amazing service and made every visit memorable. The entertainment team also deserves major recognition. Ahkeem brought incredible energy and helped create such a fun, vibrant atmosphere throughout the resort. A huge thank you also goes to Christopher, our wedding photographer. He captured our day beautifully and made us feel comfortable and natural throughout the process. His work will allow us to relive those moments for years to come. We also want to give a special shoutout to the gentleman at the middle towel stand next to the beach lifeguard station—the skinny man with the small beard and sunglasses who took us sailing. Unfortunately we didn’t catch his name, but he made our sailing experience unforgettable and was a perfect example of the warmth and personality of the Sandals staff. What truly sets Sandals Dunn’s River apart is the people. Every sector of the resort was exceptional—the management team, front desk staff, housekeeping, room service, wedding team, bartenders, servers, entertainment team, coffee shop staff, spa staff, and the entire pool and beach crew. The property itself is immaculate, and the service culture is something special. Not once during our stay were we told “no.” Instead, every request was met with a smile and a willingness to make it happen. One of the most touching aspects of our stay was how the entire resort seemed to know we had gotten married there. Staff members constantly congratulated us throughout the week, which made the experience feel incredibly personal and celebratory. The only small hiccup during our stay was that the livestream for our wedding ceremony didn’t work. However, the photography team handled the situation with incredible professionalism. They upgraded our photography package and expedited the editing of our wedding

We are still at Dunns River right now finishing up the most wonderful week. We have been to many Sandals in the past and it’s still amazes us on how we are treated like royalty when we get here. The staff here are the most friendly and helpful like all the other Sandals. We only see smiling faces and asking us if everything is OK. I have to give a shout out to a couple pool guys, Akil and JT. I see them in the morning when we are starting our day and they are always incredibly pleasant and helpful. I just had a wonderful massage from Shantelle who is equally amazing at what she does. I also cannot forget to acknowledge Laura and Ajay who we know from Southcoast. They are here working until Southcoast Resort is rebuilt and then they told us they’re going back there. They have both gone out of their way making sure that everything is perfect for us. I cannot forget to mention Britannia and Jalisa in Reservations who made certain we got the accommodations that we needed. We cannot wait to return next year for another fabulous vacation here.

This was our second visit to this resort. We enjoyed the resort amenities including the water sports and evening entertainment. The decor of the lobby and the gardens around the resort are very well done. The restaurant and room decor are also tastefully done. We appreciate the availability of top shelf liquors as we find more options at Sandals than other all inclusive resorts. The Rum Club has an excellent selection of rums including Flor de Cana which can be difficult to find even at bars and restaurants at home. The staff is gracious and accommodating with the entertainment team standing out. Rebecca Jane did an excellent job each time we saw her in action. She remembers the names of guests, is positive, enthusiastic, and makes you feel at home.

Just finished our stay at Sandals Dunn's River and it was fabulous! Beautiful resort and super friendly and fun staff! Special shout out to bartenders Gabriel, Mario and Seymour! Always greeted us with a a big smile!
