The Residhome Appart Hotel at the “Caserne de Bonne” in Grenoble was one of my classics in the pre-COVID era, and I came back to it recently in the context of a business trip to Grenoble. I was very happy to see that the excellent service, rooms and facilities are still in order. Obviously, we should not forget the amazing location of this hotel, right in the centre of Grenoble (with thus a bunch of shops and restaurants around). I therefore recommend it to anyone interested in a short visit to Grenoble. The room was very nice and clean, and large enough so that I could also work from it and prepare some refreshments in the kitchen space. My room only had a ceiling window, but I was not there for the view so that it was totally fine with me (although this may incommode some). Very importantly, the bed was very comfortable and I slept like a baby. In my reservation, breakfast was included, and I must say that it is a bit better when compared with other hotels of the same category in the Rhone-Alpes region (all basics are there, including in particular a great selection of cheese). Finally, the personnel of the hotel are friendly and always helpful.

I don’t normally write reviews but I am very grateful to the staff (owners?) Of this hotel as I arrived in quite a stressful state (a long story to do with the Tour de France in a broken down van). They made me feel most welcome and did everything they could to put me at ease. I stayed one day and was a stress monkey throughout which must’ve been quite annoying to them but they went out of their way to help me (they let me stay and sort out my plans even though the hotel was closing for that weekend) and were genuinely sympathetic to my plight. They are warm and genuinely nice people. I hope to stay when I can relax and enjoy it because it’s a lovely hotel.

Just next to the university, you can get down to the tram. The transportation is very convenient. There is a big supermarket (géant ******) next to it, and shopping is also convenient. There is a KFC and McDonald's around 900 meters away, and there are also nearby restaurants. It just doesn’t have air conditioning, so it’s France

GGuest UserThe hotel is located right beside the Grenoble train station in what could be considered as a business district. Surrounding the hotel are a range of offices such as the World Trade Centre and the School of Management. The main centre or more touristic area is a pleasant 10-15 stroll away or indeed you can take the tram. There are a few restaurants and convenience stores located within 5 minute walk. The entrance to the hotel is a little unassuming However upon entry you are greeted with a modern lobby. There is a nice seating area for meeting or enjoying a drink from the bar. This then expands to a restaurant area which gets good reviews and then further to the breakfast area. The fixtures and fittings are to a high standard and have a semi luxurious feel. The check-in was professional however a wait was needed until the room was ready even though it was already 2pm. The room was quite a contrast to the modern plush interior of the lobby. It felt a little dated and showed the signs of aging. The carpet and sofa stained, the curtains ripped, the table edging peeling. The decor of the room appeared a little drab. The room was a privilege room and was spacious with a large double bed (two singles zipped) sofa, desk, chair and lounge chair. It was equipped with a mini bar with complimentary drinks and a coffee pod machine (limescale in the water tank) and large screen TV. The bathroom was split into a separate shower and WC - handy for families I'm sure but not hygienic to have two doors between the toilet and sink. The worst element of this room was that it was located opposite the lift. The lift chimed not only when it landed on that floor, but also it seemed everytime it was used, that could only account for it chiming at least twice a minute in peak times and was loud enough for me to try and put pillows at the door to soundproof it somewhat. The room also didn't get cleaned in the three day stay when I left it empty each morning. Upon return after lunch I requested from the cleaner to at least replenish the tea/coffee but she never returned. Overall, this is a pleasant hotel and good value for money. However my opinion is that it is not up to the standard of other 4 star Novotels in France.

The location is very convenient for my business trip and only 10 mins from the centre by tram. Covid rules mean that, currently, the room is not serviced each day, so tea, coffee & cups are not replaced. Rooms and general decor are a little tired, but clean and comfortable. Parking space is not guaranteed, so I was luck to arrive early enough to find a space. Staff are all very helpful and friendly. I will continue to stay here on future trips.

DDaniela CluciSono arrivata verso le 13.30 in albergo ma nessuno non se mosso fino alle 15 .La ragazza mi ha detto che la stanza non e stata prenotata anche se era già pagata da un mese, inutile discutere non capiva e non parlava bene inglese O paga o lascia il albergo Disperata o pagata la stanza altri 82 e poi sorpresa mi ha detto che devo pagare anche una cauzione di 87 e La carta Postepay che lo uso da 10 anni per pagare era rifiutata.In fra tempo la fila era diventata più di 10 persone.Dopo 40 minuti grazie a mia figlia che parlava inglese abbiamo risolto.Una volta nella stanza parlo con un operatore del trip.com hotels e cerco di risolvere con pagamento.In fra tempo busa la ragazza e si scusa mi ridà indietro i soldi .Che dire....2 ore di stress .Ho letto poi le recensioni e ho capito che ragazzi che lavorano nel albergo sono autistici infatti era scritto anche sulla loro maglia.Ho piacere che ragazzi lavorano e sono inseriti nelle activita ma bisogna anche di una persona che li aiuta per non creare ai noi turisti tutti questi dispiaceri e stress .Il monolocale molto bello luminoso , letto fantastico nella cucina ci sono piatti microonde il bollitore , frigo,zona tranquilla acanto alla stazione di treni e autostazione flixbus.Se non era per personale avevo dato un bel voto

LLebedevHotel is good, clean. Staff is polite. Unfortunately, the impression was lubricated by a small incident (refusal of settlement) when it turned out that the prepayment we made did not enter the hotel. To the honour of the hotel staff, they together with the customer support service trip.com quickly solved the problem.
And yet, the hotel is a bit far from the center, but it wasn 't a big problem because we were able to drive to the center by tram.
Breakfast is typically French, very delicious.
