A hidden gem. We loved our stay here and be sure to eat at the restaurant in the hotel. The food was amazing! The customer service was spectacular.

The best hotels are family owned and operated and this one is no exception. There were three generations on deck. They and the other staff were kind and helpful. Signor Basilio gave me a tour of the wine tunnel labyrinth under the hotel which was fascinating. Don’t be fooled by the rustic construction of this hotel such as exposed beams. Everything about it is quality. From the heavy cutlery and glassware in the restaurant to monogrammed linen sheets on the bed and Bulgari toiletries. The bathroom deserves a special mention, quality fittings and beautiful marble and mosaics. The hot water and water pressure were outstanding. And not a drop of water on the floor. I’ve had many an Italian experience where shower water floods into the bathroom. Special mention to Matteo on reception and the lovely Hungarian cleaner whose name I missed but who combined forces to help me with recommendations and logistics, which is essential if you’re travelling on your own in Italy and without a car. Can’t wait to go back.

Bellissimo hotel di charme, atmosfera elegante e accogliente. Camere curatissime e arredate con gusto e attenzione, nulla é lasciato al caso. La biancheria e il tessile in generale é di lino e le lenzuola cifrate, direi che é un particolare non trascurabile. Buona la colazione servita nell'accogliente sala d'ingresso con l'antico camino; le tazze decorate dal sapore antico insieme all'apparecchiatura ricercata, ti proiettano immediatamente in un'atmosfera d'altri tempi. Tutto top. Consigliatissimo. Anche la cena consumata nella loro Locanda adiacente é stata ottima.

Tornato per la seconda volta con la famiglia. Ambiente d'altri tempi, dove regna il silenzio ed il tono basso della voce. Camera ampia e pulitissima, peccato l'affaccio delle due finestre. Bagno con tre ambienti separati (doccia-wc-lavabo). Colazione con dolci da capogiro, produzione di una pasticceria locale. Buona anche la scelta del salato. Punto di partenza per i classici giri sul colli romani. Da non disdegnare la permanenza anche se si vuole visitare Roma. A pochi minuti la metropolitana per il centro. Consiglierei soggiornare in questa bomboniera piuttosto che nella capitale, La signora che gestisce la struttura veramente deliziosa. Sorridente, gentile con grande garbo vi accompagna nella vostra permanenza. Assolutamente da provare. Bravi tutti. Farò altra recensione per il ristorante collegato e gestito dal marito.

Quality family-run hotel with beautiful rooms and lovely bathrooms decorated with mosaics. All very clean. Good breakfast. Airconditioning works well. Excellent restaurant with local specialties. Friendly service. Centrally located in Grottaferrata near the San Nilo Abbey. Also a good base to explore the Castelli Romani. Recommended !

Piccolo ma curatissimo hotel in ottima posizione. Parcheggio gratuito davanti all'albergo. Il punto forte di questa struttura è la cura degli interni con finiture di alto livello. Camere ben arredate e bagni com materiali eccellenti. Personale molto gentile e premuroso. La colazione si distingue per prodotti freschi di pasticceria e non i soliti dolci industriali che si trovano in altri hotel, per i cibi salati è necessario ordinarli espressamente. Nel complesso consigliato.
