We can reach many famous attractions without even needing a subway. The room is designed according to the specifications of a hotel apartment, and is equipped with a washing machine, microwave oven, dishwasher, kettle, and coffee machine. I live in a suite, and the washing machine has a drying function. In Guangzhou, which is hot and hot, it is very convenient for me, who has to wash and dry clothes every day. The hairdryer is from Dyson, and the room is thoughtfully equipped with electric mosquito coils and a steam ironing machine. You can feel that the staff want to make guests feel at home. Fabulous historic hotel in the center of the beautiful YueXiu district. Rooms are huge, staff is efficient, speaks English, and very polite. Rooms have high ceilings, huge windows and very well decorated in a classic but super comfortable classical China style. Yuexiu Park metro station is 5 min walk, and next door is a Starbucks and McDonalds. Across the street is a new mall with lots of Chinese restaurants. It’s also about a 10 minute walk from Guangzhou’s famous clothing wholesale markets. Hotel lobby is huge and totally fabulous! Staying here makes you feel like you are living a life of luxury, but still at a reasonable price. One thing I would tell the staff to improve : showers need to be scrubbed better because any mold in the shower is unacceptable, even a little. This is a common problem in China, different standards than western cultures I guess. Otherwise, this is the place to stay. Standard Rooms here are a lot larger than at the China Hotel next door, and usually rooms rates for both properties are similar. Why not stay at Dong Fang and get a nicer room for the same price ?

Great hotel, really good quality price ratio. Very conveniently located close to Yuexiu Park and the metro station for Line 2. Close to Guangzhou Train Station South. Great buffet breakfast at the Veranda Cafe. And if you're in the mood for fast food there is a Burger King, Starbucks and a Domino's in the same block. I will book this hotel again if I'm back on GZ.

Great value for money, super clean, comforable bed, beautiful river view from hotel room. Need to specific mention this hotel have very amazing, friendly and helpful staffs. (We left a wifi egg with charger behind and they gave it to us immediately when we check out!!) Walking distance to eateries and river cruise at the pier. Stay for 2 nights in this hotel, just a bit disappointed coz can't go to the rooftop bar due to events on both nights. Also need to mention elderly need to be very careful when using the shower room of the hotel coz their floor are made of marble. It can be a bit slippery. Other than that, I highly recommend this hotel and will come back next time. We had a wonderful time here, thank you very much.

Got an upgrade in parent/child room on 35th floor It looked fully renovated, fresh scent and carpet smell. My room was very big and clean and looked like I was the first one to use it. It had that fresh smell They could change the breakfast times to times and add more options for halal/muslims customers. Overall they have a lot of options in breakfast too Cleaning was spot on and location is very near to all restaurants and shops. Multiple Canton Fair shuttle a day to pick you up and drop you back to hotel Swimming and gym was also very nice I would use it again for sure but only if it’s 35th floor and above

Cleaning staff and check in staff are friendly and helpful. 2 in 1 Washer n Dryer is useful but needs to look into maintenance. It was dirty inside the drum. I ran a tub clean function and wiped down the washer door and seal. I then let it dry for a day before using.

Finally, there is one thing that needs attention. You need to check in after 3 pm and check out at 12 pm. I got a classic room on 29th floor but the whole floor and room had a strong stink of smoke and mould . I complained about it to front desk and told how sensitive i am towards smoke and they were very kind to upgrade my room on 27th floor. Which was cleaner and bigger and it made my two night stay wonderful. So big thank-you to the lady behind the front desk. The whole staff was welcoming and helpful . They also helped me with food delivery putting address on my app and talking to kuaidi guys. Besides hotel is located in w wonderful area lots of touristic spots , great restaurants and shops/ malls on walking distance. I’ll definitely stay here again and will make sure to have bigger room. Breakfast was fairly decent for the prices. The on spot fried jaozi were my fav though.

Upon arrival at the hotel after the check in time of 2:00pm, we were told that the rooms were not yet cleaned but we were given keys to the rooms. We would expect to get into cleaned rooms without any hassle for a hotel of this standing. It was quite horrifying to go into a room that is not cleaned. One of the rooms had a heavy cigarette smell and that needs to be changed. We have reserved 3 rooms but each room is a a different floor and our key card cannot access to other floors due to security reasons. The room is ok but there is a stain on the chair and some cigarette smell. The bed is also quite firm which may not suit everyone. The hotel should consider enforcing a check out time that would enable them to turn around the rooms in a timely manner.

I went to Guangzhou on business and chose this hotel because of the good reviews. The hotel is near the Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall and has its own small parking lot, which costs 40 yuan/24 hours. The room I stayed in was not big, but the hygiene was good. The room lighting and bed curtains were all one-button electronically controlled. The bed is very comfortable, a thumbs up. The front desk service attitude is very good, warm and polite. I will stay here again next time I come. After exiting the hotel, turn right and then turn right again. There is a Xidianhui Tea Restaurant about 200 meters away. The morning tea is very good. Locals dine there. Those who want to experience the local morning tea culture can go there.

It is next to Mayflower Commercial Plaza on Beijing Road and there is a shopping mall downstairs. It is very convenient for eating and shopping. The subway station The entrance is also downstairs, which is very convenient for traveling. In particular, the room service lady was very enthusiastic and helped solve some minor problems in a timely manner. I would like to express my praise.
