Check in was quick. Near from airport (but need to take uber/ shuttle bus). Good for quick layover before catching flight out.

Unlike in China, prices go up a lot during holidays, and I booked the hotel just for the flight, so other facilities don't mean much to me. The expensive price doesn't include airport shuttle and breakfast. Maybe I'm measuring it by domestic prices, which are just average four-star hotels in China.

This airport is in a great location, and it is an easy 20 min walk to the airport if you are so inclined (I was, and there is a convenient footpath, though not the most clearly marked in how to get to it). The staff was really nice, and there is a Woolies about 10 min walk in the other direction with an absolutely massive liquor store, though unfortunately I was not able to partake in the latter due to timing. Rooms are a little old, but the bed was great. Definitely made an early-morning flight easier to manage.
