We came here to treat ourselves, celebrating our wedding anniversary, to let our souls unwind and have a luxury wellness weekend. Oh boy, did we hit bullseye! If you wanna know what perfect service is, you have found your destination. Enjoy wellness, beautiful surroundings and top notch cuisine. To be fair and for the sake of completeness, yes the romantic getaway does come at a price, but don‘t forget… you wanted to treat yourself with something.

Nice hotel with a nod to history in scenic location. Friendly welcome upon arrival. The spa is small but modern and functional. The food and service were mediocre and pricy. When we arrived we were told when to eat our pre-booked dinner and staff were not flexible to accommodate our preferences at all. The three-course dinner was OK, and the cheese selection nice. There is a hefty surcharge when planning to use the spa on departure day. Saunas are not even switched on before 10AM and checkout is at 11AM, allowing for little time to use the facilities. Longer use of the SPA is charged at EUR 35 per person, even if it’s just for another hour! All considered not worth it at the premium price point. Other places at a similar price point offer a better package (e.g. Friedrichsruhe), where the SPA is available to use all day long on departure day and even the Spa menu is included. Also, service there is refined, friendly and accommodating, which we didn’t find at Neumühle.

Über die außergewöhnliche Location, die malerischen Gebäude, die schönen Zimmer, das ausgezeichnete Wellnessangebot, die großartige Küche und den gut sortierten Weinkeller ist hier schon vieles berichtet worden, das ich nur unterstreichen kann. Ich möchte hier aus meiner Erfahrung bei vier Übernachtungen mit neun Personen von den Menschen berichten: Der Service ist in jeder Hinsicht schlicht erstklassig. Das gilt ohne Abstriche für alle Bereiche des Hotels (Empfang, Hilfe beim Gepäck, Bedienung im Restaurant und der Ofenstube, Tipps für Ausflüge und Unternehmungen, Zimmerservice, Fahrradverleih usw. usw.).

Die Neumühle bei Wartmannsroth in der Rhön liegt an der fränkischen Saale, obwohl an einer Ortsverbindungsstrasse gelegen ist es entspannt ruhig hier. Das alte Mühlenensemble ist komplett modern ausgestattet, modernisiert und renoviert worden. Trotzdem wurde die alte Bausubstanz weitgehend erhalten und die Ausstattung ein gelungener Mix aus Alt und Neu. Das Personal ist freundlich, Service orientiert und auch der Chef ist sich nicht zu fein mit anzufassen. Der große Wellnessbereich ist umfassend ausgestattet mit Schwimmbad, finnischer Sauna, Dampfsauna etc. In- und Outdoor-Ruhebereiche lassen keine Wünsche offen. Das positive Gesamtbild wird durch eine sehr gute Küche abgerundet. Das abendliche Gourmet-Menü besteht aus 4 Gängen und ist regional, abwechslungsreich und aufwändig. Die Kochkunst wurde bereits mehrfach zu Recht ausgezeichnet. Das Frühstück ist vollumfänglich und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Probiert unbedingt Eggs Benedict - ein Schmaus vor dem Herrn. Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht, ist in der Neumühle richtig. Wellness, Wandern, gutes Essen und sehr freundliches Personal. Abgelegen von jeder Großstadt genießt man das Rauschen der Saale. Moderner Wellness-Bereich und angenehme Massagen.

Wir haben uns entschlossen meinen siebzigsten Geburtstag in der Neumühle zu feiern und diesen Entschluss nie bereut. Schon bei der Planung bekam ich vom Personal jede benötigte Hilfe, die auch während des Aufenthaltes und der tatsächlichen Feier weiter ging. Die drei gebuchten Zimmer waren außerordentlich, sehr sauber mit bequemen Betten, tollen Bädern und am nächsten Tag ein Frühstück das keine Wünsche offen ließ. Am Abend zur Feier gab es ein sehr schmackhaftes Essen mit sehr aufmerksamer Bedienung. Das Hotel überzeugt mit seiner Lage, dem Personal, dem Wellnessbereich und kleinen Extras. Das war bestimmt nicht unser letzter Aufenthalt.

The house is in a perfect location right on the Saale weir. A well-kept garden right on the Saale invites you to linger with deck chairs and parasols. The wellness area deserves 5 stars, the kitchen is of a star standard and deserves special mention. The wine list is varied and offers something for every taste and budget. Nothing is cheap here, but the price-performance ratio is good. When you leave, you get a little treat with a bar and water. A nice gesture! We'll be back

When you drive up you think it is a big old farm. Inside you can see that everything has been renovated in perfect condition. Lovely rooms with good beds. All amenities are available. We had beautiful weather and went to the garden that connects to the passing river. Wonderful beds. The waterfall is very audible. A lot of rain had fallen so there was a lot of water to drain. That doesn't happen silently. At night we had to close the windows to sleep well. But what a great place. The service is great. The restaurant was fine. There is not much choice, but the dishes they serve are good. Meat fish or vegetarian. The matching wines were tasty. Overall a great place to stay for a few days. Wonderful walks to special places. The spa is great. Lovely swimming pool and beautiful saunas and steam bath. It doesn't get any better.
