Best Hotels near ROYAL SILK SHOP, Hanoi

I had less than 24 hours in Hanoi therefore location was crucial. This place is perfect. On a quiet little street in the heart of everything which couldn't be more perfect. Lily is amazing! So so helpful. Room was perfect with super comfy bed. So clean and cosy. Shower was lovely and hot too. At such a cheap price, insane!!! What more can you ask for!! Xx

What a great place to be , right in the thick of things in the historic Old Quarter of Hà Nôi !! Rooms are spacious and well cleaned by friendly staff and the reception staff are fantastic ! Knowledgable and courteous and always with a smile on their faces ! I would highly recommend The Queen Hotel and Spa 2 as a economical and great place to be .

Harry and Tom at the front desk were super helpful and we had a fantastic time in the old quarter. The hotel is located in a back lane, we enjoyed the feel of the city hustle. We are a family of 4 with two young kids. There’s a few worthwhile spots nearby - Roses Travel Agency, the massage place staffed by blind people, some good bahn mi (sic) and bun chau (sic, I’m not sure of the spelling for these). Also, definitely recommended bringing AUD, EUR, or USD notes and exchanging here. The exchange rates in some of the local hotels/travel agencies/etc are close to commercial currency exchange rates, far superior to exchange rates from western banks.

Thanks for the amazing experience at La Mandarina Hotel. The hotel owner and the staffs are very friendly, thoughtful and helpful. When I was there exploring the Old Quarters, they even told me the places to eat and took pictures for me. Really recommend everyone to go there to spend the night. I will come back here when I have another chance to visit Hanoi!

I stay at this hotel in May with Michael who I have stay with before in Hanoi expressive in the old quarters. So I was glad to be back with Michael again after few years! He is so good with me email him to say I was coming again and had answer back over nite. This hotel excellent value for your money and their service is above anything else I have experienced in my travels! Whatever you need Michael will arrange for you whether taxi from airport luxury bus to Sapa or a trip to Halong Bay he will organise. I was here with my family for about a week, we were sceptical at first as this is a new establishment. But the moment we arrived at their lobby the staffs proved that we have made a worthy decision. Especially Anne from management, she was very welcoming and informative which helped start a great beginning to our holiday in Hanoi. Rooms are absolutely clean and well organised. Furthermore internet connection was impressive, fast and smooth, only mentioning this as it has been quite a problem with our stay at many hotels in the past. This place is located right in the center of everything, walking distance to Old Quarter, Ho Guom lake, eating streets, markets, etc. Heaps more positive things about this hotel that you should come and experience for yourself. Definitely will be staying here again the next time I’m in Hanoi. Thank you Grand Cititel team for looking after us!

Very friendly people working there. Did stay there for 6 nights. Room top floor no sound from outside good double bed and nice furniture including television and a watercooker. Location just about the opposite of the old town need to cross the river hotel next to the bridge.

I stayed two nights there in two different rooms. One overlooking the street and one with windows but with no views. Both were good and quiet. The bed was super comfy, very nice bed linen, great bathroom with powerful shower. Good breakfast, very friendly staff.

The hotel is located in an alley, so for some travelers it may feel uncomfortable. But the street has many hotels/hostels/shops. The room was a bit smaller than in the photos. Furniture and room could use a touch up. Other than that it was a good hotel. The bed was king size and really good. We stayed at 22Land before, but the other branch (71 hang bong) 2 times. I personally prefer that branch, because of its location and the room sizes. They are true to size.

Without a second thought, we booked it again for our final night in the city. To our sheer joy, we were upgraded to a family room—a spacious sanctuary that made us wish we had booked it every day of our stay. The room was a cornucopia of comfort, boasting ample space, heavenly beds, and a top-notch air conditioning system ensuring a cool retreat from the city’s hustle and bustle. The reception was a redux of our initial warm welcome, greeting us with tea, making our return feel like a homecoming. Their attentiveness added a golden touch to our already stellar experience.
