I stayed here for 3 nights to visit a friend studying abroad. It's a short walk from Central Station and right in front of the Heymarket tram station, so the location is great.
The shower room and room were so clean that I was convinced by the reviews that it was newly renovated (although I'm not sure if that's true...).
I was grateful for the light and power outlet at the bedside. There was also a locker that was the size of a medium-sized suitcase, which was perfect for managing your luggage during your stay. I recommend bringing a key just in case.
I happened to check in early, so I was able to get a lower bunk bed.
The people in my room were all well-mannered, and no one was particularly noisy, so I was able to sleep soundly. Since it's a dormitory, you have to be careful when getting up early in the morning to get ready or making noise, but it didn't bother me that much because we all get along.
You can borrow a hair dryer if you ask the receptionist. There were multiple units, and I was lucky that I couldn't borrow one because they were out of stock. I became good friends with the Japanese and Korean roommates and went out for drinks at a nearby bar, which is a fond memory.
The common space was very spacious and comfortable. Everyone was spending their time working, making phone calls, or however they wanted.
I was very grateful for the water server and kitchen. There were some condiments left behind by the previous guests, so I sometimes bought ingredients at the supermarket and cooked for myself. Eating out is expensive, so this was very helpful.
I'd like to stay here again!
