Hotels in 1912 Block/National University of Defense Technology, Hefei

The service was great! They proactively upgraded our room and even gave toys to our two kids. The hotel breakfast was extensive, though the replenishment of some dishes was a bit slow. The pool area was fantastic, with both adult and children's pools, which my wife and kids absolutely loved. There's also a ball pit area, which, while small, was better than nothing and kept the kids happy. The only downside is that it's a bit far from the subway, so we mostly relied on taxis to get around. Overall, we were satisfied and would consider staying here again on our next visit to Hefei.

This is one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed at in China. The room was a great size, with a king sized bed, very soft L-shaped couch, desk, and a panorama window. There was a Japanese style toilet, a standalone tub, and a shower large enough to fit 4-5 people easily. The drain in the tub required extra force to lock into place, but it was a great size. The shower also had great water pressure. The only negative thing was, I couldn’t get the TV to display any channels. The staff did not speak English but they were very friendly and used their translators effectively. I highly recommend this place. It’s about 20 mins or so from the Hefei South train station and about 10 mins taxi from the 1912 bar *****.

Stayed at the hotel for a long time and exceeded expectations! Health is in place, sound insulation is super good, the bed is very comfortable, the front desk check-in is super fast, and the room is cleaned.

A very satisfying stay. When visiting Hefei, hotels around 1912 offer great value for money. It's convenient for dining and not far from Swan Lake by car. The hotel is new, well-equipped, and elegant, with very clean rooms. The hotel has parking and a gym, and the staff are very helpful and professional. Because we returned late, they even extended our stay. Overall, a very satisfying experience, and I'll definitely come back next year!

The hotel was clean, but some of the equipment of the room was poorly maintained, for example, the wobbly toilet seat, or the dysfunctional light switches. Some of the neighbours were very loud and insisted on having loud phone calls in the hallway. Overall still satisfactory for the price.

The hotel boasts an elegant environment, filled with real orchids – truly deserving of its ”Orchid Hotel” moniker. The rooms were satisfactory, and the front desk staff were welcoming. The hotel also offers free parking and a gym.

Services were good! Breakfast was tasty. Only not a big fan of the smokiness in our room; it was a non-smoking room but we kinda woke up due to smokey smells.

The first time I came to Hefei, I chose to stay at this Atour Hotel. The overall is very small, but the hardware is very new, the room is not big, it is relatively clean, the waiter is very good, and overall it is OK. I ate the spicy hot not far from the neighborhood and the taste was great. Hygiene: OK

Stayed for five days, the service attitude is very good, you can clean every day, the main hotel is in a good location, very close to the subway station, there are many small yellow cars downstairs

This trip to Hefei was a little special for me. Although I was traveling with my mother in her 50s, I also wanted to spend time with my boyfriend who lives in China, so I ended up booking two separate rooms at the same hotel. At first, I hesitated, but it turned out to be a great decision. By reserving two rooms in the same hotel, my mother could rest comfortably in her own space, and I was able to spend time with my boyfriend according to our schedule without making anyone feel uncomfortable. What I appreciated most was being able to respect and balance both relationships — family and partner. The hotel staff handled the check-in process and room assignments smoothly, and both rooms were clean and well-maintained, which gave us peace of mind throughout our stay. Having two rooms in the same hotel also made it very convenient to move around and go back and forth as needed. For anyone traveling with family while also needing some personal time, this arrangement can definitely be a thoughtful and practical option. There seem to be slightly more international visitors than Korean tourists in Hefei, so I decided to write this review in English.
