Ich war mit dem Motorrad auf der Durchreise Gast im "Engel". Die Auswahl fiel auf dieses Hotel, weil ich bei meinen Motorradreisen großer Fan von schnörkellosen Landgasthöfen bin. Der "Engel" gehört ganz klar in diese Kategorie. Nette und aufmerksame Gastgeber, ein Einzelzimmer mit so viel Platz, dass man seine Sachen auch mal einfach in die Ecker werfen kann, saubere Handtücher, gepflegte Bettwäsche und ein Restaurant mit angeschlossenem Biergarten, das mit vielen lokalen Spezialitäten aufwartet. Sowohl bei Getränken als auch beim Essen. Weiter geht's mit dem Frühstück, das für jeden Geschmack etwas im Programm haben sollte. Und so selbstverständlich, wie man dort frisch zubereitetes Rührei etc. angeboten bekommt, kann sich manch höher klassifiziertes Haus in der Gegend eine Scheibe abschneiden. Ein Wunsch bleibt aber: Zimmer 23 kann ein bisschen frische Farbe an den Wänden vertragen. Dann gibt es auch den jetzt noch fehlenden Punkt. Ich komme gerne wieder!
