Premier Inn Hereford City Centre (Old Market)

I arrived at 12 as I wanted to purchase early check in but was told it was not possible even though it is clearly advertised in the website. I was made to feel like I shouldn’t have asked for this or I was being difficult and was met with a very hostile and hard done by attitude. Please keep in mind that if this is advertised it should be an option and that some of your customers have disabilities. I was made to wander the streets of Hereford for 3 hours with epilepsy which was very hard. I was extremely anxious. I was there for my sisters wedding and this ruined the experience for me as I didn’t get to relax before hand and was very anxious throughout. A kitchen at another premier inn had broken down so I was told breakfast would be over booked as they were catering for 2 hotels. Although my room was quiet there were multiple stains on the furniture and furnishings (room 124) there is a very large stain on the sofa/single bed under the window which looks like bodily fluid and there was hair in the bed. Considering I couldn’t check in until 15:50 due to it being cleaned I assumed it would have been clean.

Excellent Hotel Wonderful location. On site payable parking and more nearby. Incredible staff. Friendly, helpful and efficient. We stayed on B&B basis as visiting family nearby. Breakfast was fantastic. We had a ground floor accessible room as my husband is elderly and his balance is poor. Plenty of room for his mobility scooter and huge bathroom with walk in shower. Perfect for us. Amazing location with Waitrose across the street and loads of pubs and restaurants within easy reach. Cathedral and easy walk away and definitely worth a visit! This is our 2nd stay at this hotel and will definitely go again! Many thanks to the amazing staff!

Very welcoming team - Laura, duty manager, very kind and friendly. Vi serving breakfast customers also very obliging. Comfy night’s sleep. Good location for accessing central Hereford. Premier Inn car park limited, hence 4*, but easily accessible parking nearby.

This has to be the best Premier Inn we’ve stayed in. Laura, Deb, Amanda and Alisha worked as a well oiled team. They were always on hand to help and to ensure our stay was good. Our continental breakfast was very good and the full English was cooked freshly to order and looked very appetising. Parking was very convenient and good value. Disabled bays immediately outside the door. Excellent location within easy walking distance of town centre. The room was as you’d expect - clean, quality linen and comfy bed. Our room was roadside but absolutely no noise. The only downside is the dinginess of the room, this being due to the depressing colour scheme Premier chooses to use through its hotels. Why one asks?

Charging £195 for this room is mental. A fair price would be £70. A generous price would be £100. Basic facilities and no breakfast included in the exorbitant cost. Oh and the bathroom has a funky stench like something has died in there. On a positive note… no, can’t think of anything.

Situated within walking distance of the shops & restaurants in Hereford. Clean & comfortable room & the staff couldn’t have been more friendly & helpful. Great choice at breakfast too.
