This motel is such a fantastic find! The rooms are nicely designed and very well appointed. The staff are friendly and accommodating, but best of all, this place is truly pet friendly with solid & secure fencing. I will definitely be coming back!

We had the most fantastic night here! Such an amazing surprise to find this beautifully appointed accommodation in the region! What a gem! Lovely furnishings, good quality bedding, ample crockery and cutlery, wine and drinking glasses. The piece de resistance was the layout and design of the inside and outdoor area. The courtyard was as well done as any I have seen and the outdoor claw foot baths were brilliant- a great place for a couples retreat. We did the rail trail from Tralaganon about a 33km push bike ride-. We will be back just for a night away sometime very soon!

My husband and I both loved this place! The decor is outstanding. Love the industrial/rustic theme. Beautiful courtyard and pet friendly! The bed and bedding was luxurious and soft comfy pillows! Grant was a fantastic host and we'll definitely stay there again when we visit friends in the area. Highly recommend this place!

Great place to stay. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Not your usual motel decor. One slight problem was the water feature in courtyard into which my husband stepped in the dark. Not a problem if you turned on outside lights first! Would definitely stay there again.

Outstanding choices of accommodation with different themed rooms. Friendly staff to meet you soon as you arrive. Definitely 5 star . Great wifi comfortable bed. Very clean. Pet friendly what a bonus. Never want to leave. Definitely be back .our new favourite. Getaway

Greeted by our friendly, welcoming host, we were taken to our beautifully updated room and provided with milk for our morning coffee. The bed, although high off the ground, was incredibly comfortable. What a gem of a find this place is! Thank you for having us.

Stayed at Motel 3858 for a couple of nights. A quaint refurbished Motel in Heyfield Vic. Fabulous decor, comfy bed, large fridge, appliance’s and utensils all supplied. Relaxing private backyard, some with spa or claw baths. Exceptional service from the owners, even better pet friendly. Most enjoyable, and relaxing time with my furbaby.

Unique, nothing like I’ve stayed in before. This accommodation is so different in such a beautiful way. What other country motel would you walk out your door to a fishpond, private spa and outdoor shower. We had the best time!
