I was pleasantly surprised by my room - it’s brand new with the most comfortable mattress, I slept like a baby. The room was bright with two big windows overlooking the street. The bathroom is spacious which is a big plus. Another thing I liked was the charging pots - super convenient. The location is great - right in front of the bus stop, I took A21 bus directly from the airport (around 35HK$) and arrived there in about 90 minutes. MTR is also nearby. Walking distance. I’d stay there again next time.

Great location beside Harbour City and Gateway Arcade and only 5 mins to star Ferry. Staff were polite but not overly helpful. We were supposed to have a welcome fruit bowl but didn't. Room was a good size and very comfortable but the electrical fittings are over due for refurbishment. Will use again because of location.

There is very good housekeeping, and the room is tidy. Also, it's a good location. Despite these, it was a terrible experience: - Inpatient check-in service, no eye contact - One concerning aspect was the ease with which non-hotel guests could access the rooms. For instance, food delivery services like Uber Eats could deliver directly to the room, and small groups of people were frequently seen entering and exiting the hotel, especially at night. - Smelly toilet - The bellboy was helpful to the Benz or higher-graded car, but they walked away when they saw our family's pick-up, which was a Japanese car.

Decent hotel if it’s for a night or two. The price is pretty good for a harbour view room as you would struggle to stay at Chungking mansions for the same price with no view at all. The hotel is in need of a renovation, but the price reflects this so don’t expect too much.

Awesome service from all staffs at the hotel, we can leave the luggages in the early morning and go sightseeing in the secure area for luggage storage with staff monitoring all the time. The room is very clean and always fill in amenities with great support. Housekeeping cleans the room everyday and staffs are so nice. The lobby area has coffee and water 24-hour self service for all guests with light breakfast in morning time(bread, butter, jam,honey, fruit juice, coffee) that all you can eat. The staff always fill in stuffs.

If you want a very spacious and comfortable place to stay, choose this. One of the best! The staff are very good and easy to ask of you have concerns. Hope to come back again. The curtain in the bathroom can be opened or close automatically, its modern, clean, good smell and they always change the towels and replenish the necessities. Thank you!

Very basic no-frills old-style hotel but clean. Location is superb, can walk all around Tsim Sha Tsui. We walked from the ferry terminal to Avenue of stars. Good for people who do not spend much time in the hotel, but spend more time outside.

Very old hotel. So old that it nearly feels like they should instead of redoing they should renovate it in its original condition. Like a 90s hotel experience. Now the 90s feel just felt cheap, because it was a bit worn down. They should fresh it up and adverse it as a 90s hotel. Make more of it. Maybe have a cassette player with mixtapes in the room, the staff dressed in 90s style clothes and haircuts etc. That would be so much more worth the money. We only chose this place because it was close to the theatre and the trainstation.

Location quite good, close to MTR and trans etc. Staff in hotel and at breakfast very nice, front desk seemed abrupt. Room, corridors and facilities all clean but very tired - the hotel seems older than it actually is. Rooftop pool was cold but beautiful; fantastic views. What made the difference between mediocre and good for me was the breakfast, which was amazing. A huge range of every kind of food imaginable - Western-style cooked, continental, local food, fruit, yogurts, cereals, bread, pastries, rolls. Really impressive and very nice staff in attendance. My room was a bit chilly and I couldn’t get air con to blow warm air so they brought me an electric heater which did the trick. Shower was only lukewarm but I’m sure if I’d called front desk they would have tried to sort it.

Very happy to be able to stay at the Alva Hotel, the hotel facilities are very complete, the lobby is large and the cleanliness is excellent! Apart from that, the staff are very friendly and very helpful. and most importantly for tourists, it is very easy to reach because in front of the hotel there is a bus stop and it is also close to the MTR station. If I have the opportunity to return to Hong Kong, I will definitely stay again at the Alva Hotel❤️❤️❤️❤️
