Best Western the Plaza Hotel

Western Honolulu
The hotel is very close to the airport, so you can hear the frequent takeoff of planes. The room is average, but the hygiene is very good. Parking fee is $40 per night, and registered members are $20 per night. The hotel includes breakfast, and the variety is OK. It is also average. It is very suitable for transit at the airport. If you stay for a long time, it is better to choose a hotel by the sea. Finally, I would like to thank the sister with color-changing glasses at the front desk. Sorry, I don’t remember her name. The check-in explanation was very clear and the speed was also very fast.

Waikiki
Located on the opposite side of the street from the Prince Hotel, it is not a place where you can easily go to Waikiki Beach, but on the other hand, Ala Moana is less than a 10 minute walk away. I think it's safer to send an email to the hotel in advance saying you'd like to park rather than going to the hotel on the day, but it's a hassle and even if you're told it's full, you'll be directed to a nearby parking lot. , I don't have any trouble with that, so I think you can rest assured. If you don't care about the view or the ocean front, I think it can be an option as the price can be kept down.

Waikiki
Don’t book a room cheaply! *Environmental location, next to Wakiki Beach and on the main road, it is very convenient to be connected in all directions. Convenience stores and restaurants, trolly stations, public beaches, and zoos are all very close and within walking distance. *Room facilities, the hotel has a history of a hundred years, so it is very stylish, but the city view room in the Diamond Building is so bad! ! ! ! Not as good as the new 3 star hotel rooms. (Pictured below are the benefits of room upgrade with the Marriott Platinum Card. I booked the cheapest room, but it turned out that booking through a third party did not provide any membership benefits. In the Maui fire, the hotel was full, and I wanted to upgrade temporarily but there was no room). The room is old, with an area of less than 20 square meters. Morning and night, I am woken up either by cars on the road or by the phone in the next room. A very bad experience! * Service, remind the guests to check the bill carefully. After staying for 5 nights, the wrong bill was charged on 4 days. They checked it out one by one when they checked out, and the wrong money was refunded after 4 days. In short, don't try to be cheap when booking a room. The small and shabby room type is not as good as staying in Hyatt or Marriott. The price/performance ratio is too low!

Waikiki
I got my flight delayed and missed my connecting flight. Ended up to the beauty pf Hawaii and this hotel. My stay was amazing! Beyond! The rooms are spacious and they gave me the most amazing view and corner room. Everything is within your footsteps! Every staff is lovely and helpful! The Guy Glenn was so helpful and the one responsible in my ridonkulously amazing room!
Courtyard Oahu North Shore
4.2/5122 Reviews
I would recommend the hotel if folks are visiting the north shore for a few days and can visit the Polynesian Cultural Center, conveniently located next door, more than once during their stay since it's hard to see all of the PPC in just one day. It's also located right across from a beach. I think the hotel is undergoing renovations, as the lobby and The Bistro were not open when we stayed on 6/8/24. The hotel has been open since 2015, and I think new carpet was just put down throughout the entire hotel, as it looks/feels/smells like it's brand new. The room is nice & clean and beds very comfy. Pricing is on par w/ the Waikiki hotels located on the Waikiki beach ***** but not at the Waikiki *****, so if you don't plan to stay in Waikiki due to the crowds, then this is the place to stay (there aren't many other hotel options on the North Shore).

Waikiki
I booked two rooms at the same time, but they were on different floors, and even though they were the same price, one of them didn't have a bathtub, only a shower. The conditioner was empty when I was in the bath! I stayed for consecutive nights, but it seemed like the floors hadn't been cleaned, and the bathrobes hadn't been replenished, so it's not good considering the price! The location and front desk staff were good.
