DoubleTree by Hilton Alana - Waikiki Beach Reviews

The hotel is an old hotel, but it is very comfortable, with perfect infrastructure, good service attitude, clean and hygienic.

Location was great but It was just too touristy for me. Everywhere was busy. Next time, I would prefer to stay somewhere a little less touristy. Also, amenities are only open at certain times of the day so you have to move from place to place.

The Doubletree hotel location is not too bad (10 min walk to Royal Hawaiian Center) but the hotel is quite dated. Expect dust on the ceiling, dirty vent, aged facility. Staff are friendly but limited services can be expected since usually there are only 2 FD staff to deal with all things. No hot water for last night I stayed but FD was able to give me a different room to b shower. Unfortunately the pool was under maintenance and they let us use the Hilton Hawaiian pool (See pic) and that was nice. Overall for the location wise and price wise, I think Doubletree has good value.

Good location but too much hidden fees..we paid extra 500 plus included parking fees..felt kinda ripped off..facilities kinda old as well. Cleanliness was alright..

Lots of extra charges! Was charged extra too for no reason! Be very vigilant went you are charged during checkout. Hidden charges will suddenly appear! My room was also not made despite me telling them to make my room! The front staff are also not friendly!

Nice clean helpful reasonable

Soap, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, lotion, bath towels, coffee machine are provided. Toothbrushes and pajamas are not provided. Microwaves are only available in the lobby. There is an ice maker on the 12th floor (not sure if it is the same on other floors). You can get a kettle by asking the front desk.

The coffee filter (cup type) was left in place, and the ice in the ice container was left melted, and it had not been checked.

I stayed at Biscuits. The room was pretty good, a bit old but clean. The bathroom was small but okay. You can go to the beach to watch the fireworks on Friday, it's very beautiful. The price is acceptable!

The price is reasonable, clean and sanitary, close to the beach, and there are many delicious shops around. If I come to Hawaii for business next time, I will still choose this hotel.

The hotel is relatively old in decoration and facilities among Hilton hotels. You need to carry your luggage upstairs on the first floor. There are not enough waiters. No one took the initiative to help with the luggage. Fortunately, there was no one, otherwise you would have to pay one dollar. Tip, the hotel does not have a swimming pool, which is not suitable for my needs. The location is relatively remote. Fortunately, there is a place where food trucks gather near the hotel. There are more choices for eating and it is cheap. Haha, I have to find the photos slowly. I can’t remember. Which one belongs to this hotel?

Overall quite satisfied

Opposite the hotel is a park, further away from the sea. Booked 2 rooms, the rooms are small, and the sanitary conditions are average. When you check in, you will pay 200 US dollars for each room. When you check out, the resort fee will be deducted and then the fee for one room will be refunded. After communication with Ctrip staff, the other room fee will be refunded. .
