I had an incredible stay at Hotel Rajmahal. I only intended to stay for a couple nights but ended up staying one extra night. The rooms were comfortable and clean. It’s a short 10 minute walk to the main Mandir. There is a peace and quiet on the property with a beautiful view that I really enjoyed. The property is located just outside the hustle and bustle of the Main Street. The service staff were incredible. I experienced some of the best customer service I have ever had in India. The room service staff, security, waiters, and cleaning staff were kind, accommodating, helpful, and always had a smile. Every meal, breakfast and dinner, was taken in their restaurant because the food was so good. This place had a a warm energy I am glad I stayed here. I highly recommend this accommodation and their restaurant. I will return next time I am in Tarapith. They were able to set me up with a taxi driver to Kolkata last minute.
