I am so glad something told me to go ahead and book this suite even after reading the reviews. We were in town for a wedding in Cypress. Unfortunately, on Google and Trip Advisor, the reviews were dismal. My husband even suggested that we stay further into the city but I just couldn't justify driving 40+ minutes to get to a wedding when we had already driven 5 hours for the wedding. We were greeted by Alexandria and she presented me with a nice Hilton Honors care package (2 bottles of water in a recyclable bag). Upon first look, the property is CLEAN. The lobby area was absent of any debris and no smell. We entered the elevator and then checked into our room (Room 300). I opened the door and let out an audible gasp. The room was just fine! ALL is well! It is a large room with a kitchenette, a sofa, a table for eating, and we had a king size bed. The carpet was fine, wasn't torn in any places and did not appear dirty. The ac was set to a cool temperature especially for July heat and ran as expected (no noise, nothing falling off, etc.). The tv was fine and sitting on a stand/chest of drawers. You could shift it to turn towards the bed if needed. We had three sets of towels (it was only 2 of us in the room so this was plenty for us). The bathroom was fine. There is some dirt embedded in the grout but I believe the dirt has stained it so a good pressure wash or use of the brush on the drill may resolve this. Not enough to be mad about for me. The shower head gives a GREAT pressure-filled shower. I so enjoyed having great pressure in the shower. There was a little limescale build-up but nothing to be upset about. There are three products for your use in the shower and all are ZERO% branding (shower gel, shampoo, conditioner). There is a little step for your foot if you need to shave your legs. There is also body lotion mounted near the sink. All products had sufficient amounts. The pressure made up for EVERYTHING in the bathroom. A few opportunities for the kitchenette - there was about 2 sheets of paper towels on the roll in the kitchenette without a replacement. I'm sure if I would have called Alexandria, she would have replaced it. I didn't bother to call her though. There were no forks. Those need to be replaced as well. There was also a lightbulb out in the vanity area and a bulb out in one of the sconces over the sink. We were in town for less than 24 hours and I could see fine to do my makeup and we needed to head out to the wedding. Again, I did NOT call for this. People seemed to be enjoying the pool area and were swimming. The pool was clean and there are loungers available. I liked that our room overlooked the pool area. When we returned from the wedding, Alexandria was still there and complimented us on our attire stating that we looked wonderful. That was nice of her to engage. We left extremely early the next morning (around 6am) and had Ashley for our check-out experience. Ashley was pleasant and I told her about the light bulbs. I for
