Our first and last stay at any Mahindra property due to our 2 bad days of worst off experience in a 5star hotel!! People, process, customer interaction, policies in restaurants, room, managers, staff -everything solidly below par…..access to the property after a good drive was also poor!! just hated to have made a decision to stay here….and price value justification - certainly not rational!!! Right from getting off the car, confusion at the front office, extremely poor welcome to ordering food at the 2nd restaurant - seemed majorly a lodge restaurant to eat….( like a very basic fast food type environment in beautiful Munnar….Managers must be pulled up….am also yet to see a 5star property you can’t order a glass of wine or beer with dinner and no swimming pool in a 5 star hotel and also no safety locker in the room!! The table mats in the restaurant we ate was so below standard….glorified lodge stay at such a high price….rude and arrogant staff!!! They need training to delight customers in the Hospitality industry! Pls pull up the manager for F&B service. They also initially refused the percentage discount which was a part of our booking. Only after showing proof they honoured it….such a terrible experience….the Buffet restaurant had good smbience and set up but people who do not like buffet dinner cannot sit there for alacart orders and go to the 2nd dingy type lodge restaurant!! Can’t relate to a top industry leading group failing to provide quality services….do not recommend the hotel/ resort to anyone reading this, thank you!
