Because the hotel is located in the pedestrian street, a accidentally self-driving car 🚗 broke in, was chased by the police car 🚓 and fined 25 euros. The parking lot 🅿️ is located underground in the commercial center opposite the hotel. I asked twice to find it. In addition to the mall, you can see Anna pillar. , Diagonally opposite is the hotel, Need to carefully observe 👀 breakfast is very good 👍 room facilities meet travel needs, the location is particularly good, surrounded by attractions and shopping places, there are various restaurants and bars on the street at night, and music lovers play and sing in the afternoon 🎤 If you like it, you can give them a coin or you think it fits Appropriate cost

Hotel location is quite good, the room is still decent, the single room is not without any view, but also quiet. The air conditioner is German and I don't know how to operate it. The room is not warm in winter, and the air conditioner does not know how to operate heating. The bathroom is quite big, but fortunately there is a warm clothes in the bathroom. The beds are soft, as is Austria.

Very good location just a short walk from the Old Town and not far from the station. Innsbruck is lovely and well worth a visit. The room was nice, though a towel from the last guest had been left in the bathroom. There is no fridge in the room and the safe is too small for a laptop. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was ok, nothing special. It's not a historical hotel in any sense - just the usual. It's also quite expensive for what it is. I wasn't impressed with the staff attitude. Some customer training would be appropriate. Because of that, I will stay elsewhere next time I go to Innsbruck.

We stayed there two nights and it was great value for its price. In a quaint part of Innsbruck, Pradl Elf fully immersed us in the heart of the city, only a short walk away from restaurants, the Olympic Park, and (a bit further of a walk) the old city. The room we got was spacious, comfortable, and clean. Though we didn't use it, the little kitchenette provided was quite nice and could have been used. The bathroom was good. It is clear that the hotel is not always staffed: before our arrival (which we said via a form would be at 3pm), they sent us emailed instructions for how to get in the event that no staff was there. The instructions were simple to follow and straightforward, but as an American it was a bit odd to not see any staff present. But, the whole time, we felt secure so it was fine. The parking will cost 8 euros a day but is convenient, located about a 2 minute walk from the hotel.

The location of this hotel is pretty good. You walk from the historical center of Innsbruck towards the bridge, you cross it and then go up a little bit. It’s at most 10 minutes by foot. The hotel seems small but nice. There is an issue with the parking though. It’s on the sides of the building and very limited. We warned the staff that we will arrive two hours earlier the check in and they said it was fine, however on that day the front desk person didn’t want to allow us to park (later she did after we mentioned the emails). We were also not given the room even though it was ready (we know because they okayed to leave our luggage there). I understand the rules but I worked in the hospitality business for many years and traveled a lot and it’s a common practice to give the guests their room a bit earlier if it’s ready. Except this not most pleasant check in, our stay was fine. The room was tiny but clean. The breakfast was simple but nice. We thought it was a good value. If you need a budget stay, you can consider this place.

Nice hotel but staff could be a bit more welcoming. At least a smile and use our names. The room was clean and pleasant. Quiet. Good comfortable bed with a great view to the mountains. Had dinner one night which was quite yummy and staff were prompt and friendly. Would have liked to sit outside in the small court yard but is stinks due to the smokers. This is an issue with most hotels we stayed in, no place outside to enjoy for non smokers. Great location with easy 5 min walk to city centre.

The Alphotel Innsbruck is probably the worst hotel we've ever stayed at! But we had no choice since we were on a tour package and this was the hotel that Gate1 chose for our itinerary. We weren't the only tour members who did not have a good stay at this hotel. Our tour group had a long day and we were scheduled to arrive late so we were all pretty tired when we arrived. Unfortunately the room we were assigned to didn't even look or feel exceptionally clean and I'm surprised I didn't take photos of the room! Comparing posted photos of the rooms on TA our room looked much older and didn't even have a real chair, but only one of those small round ottomans. And that ottoman was dirty and stained, so we didn't want to sit on that! The bedspread had that ”ick” factor, so we removed it but at least the sheets were clean. Carpet looked grungy so we made sure to wear our slippers and not walk barefoot on it. Regret not taking pictures of the room now. We've stayed at hotels with older or ”tired” decor but they were at least neat and clean, but not at this hotel! Now the ”fun” part was our bathroom door. I was getting ready to take a shower and went into the bathroom, but wanted to use my own soap and toiletries, so I went out of the bathroom and my husband (who was standing in front of the bathroom, looking at the closet or something right across from the bathroom) shut the opaque glass bathroom door. I went back to the bathroom and tried to open the door and it was locked! It was one of those simple privacy type locks where there's usually a pinhole that you can usually press and it'll pop open. Unfortunately, there was no pinhole but a screw so I tried twisting the screw but the door remained locked. Husband tried but it kept turning and he didn't have any tools so he called the front desk and they sent the maintenance guy up. The maintenance guy looked at the door and tried twisting the screw with the same results and said he needed to go get his tools. He returned with his small toolbox and tried several screwdrivers, with no luck. Then he tried using a small drill to remove the screw and still couldn't get the door unlocked. Meanwhile, we were sitting on the bed and watching tv since there was nothing else we could do. I texted our friends who were also traveling in the tour group and assigned to the room right next door to let them know what was happening. And to apologize to them for the loud racket, as the maintenance guy went and got his large power drill and was basically removing the entire door knob and panel. So the guy had to destroy the whole door knob panel because the door lock screw or nut inside the panel was probably stripped and couldn't unlock or open the door; so if I was on the other side of the door I would have been stuck in the bathroom! Other hotel guests across the hall were opening their doors to find out what the loud racket and noises and disturbance was. This whole problem took the poor m

My 4th time in this area for skiing on Stubai Glacier. This hotel probably offers the best value you can get in the entire valley. It is modern, clean and very comfortable. Staff is super friendly and communicative. I had booked the cheapest room they offer, and it looks much better in reality than on the website pictures. It is very spacious , has a comfortable bathroom and separate toilet. Glass wall to the balkony offers views that will take your breath away. Rooms are cleaned everyday. Hotel has a great SPA worthy of a 5+ star hotel with 4 types of sauna and a medium size pool with stunning views. Again the SPA area should be photographed better as in reality it looks much better than photos I saw on Booking. If you dont mind a little driving to skiing areas, this hotel is an awesome choice to spend luxury time and relax after time on the mountains. I will most certainly try to return and can recommend it with clear conscience to anyone.

GGuest UserWe had even to the Innsbruck hotel 3 years ago when major works were being carried out at the hotel .After recently going back to the hotel I have found it has become better .Our room was perfect breakfast was perfect and the staff very helpful nothing was to much for them .The bar teams were very good and would always serve bar snacks. The reception team were brilliant. They gave us advice ro the places we might like to visit.I will be recommending to all my friends and family .Summery. Very high quality at an affordable price
The overall positive reviews for this property are difficult to rationalize following a recent stay here. This is really a three star hotel and the experience was disappointing for the price. While rooms in this part of the world are frequently small, our standard double room was barely large enough for two people with bags to move around comfortably. Furthermore, the bathroom is minuscule, and there is no real privacy for occupants given that the only thing separating the bathroom from the sleeping room is a sliding glass door that does not fully close. There are few amenities in the bathroom, and only refillable shampoo was provided in the shower, no soap or conditioner. A request to the front desk for either of these items was met with a terse reply from the rather gruff staff member that this is all they offer. Air conditioning cooled the room quite effectively, but the front desk informed us that the set point function was not enabled and that we could only control the temperature and fan speed of the output, which meant that we needed to either keep it on all night despite the room already being cold, or to shut it off entirely. The room and main floor common areas were very clean. Assistance was also lacking for a purported four star property. We checked in an hour before the room was ready and were allowed to store our bags for that time, but when we returned to the hotel a few hours later not only had the bags not been delivered to the room, we were given a key and directed to their basement storage locker where we were instructed to retrieve the luggage ourselves. The front desk did not appear to be busy at that time so I assume this is standard practice. The hallways were rather noisy until later at night, and the walls were thin with noise from neighboring rooms as well. The location is central and very convenient for walking or public transport, but the hotel faces a busy street. Internally facing rooms like ours were in close proximity to an adjacent outdoor restaurant and alleyway. Breakfast was a relative bright spot, although we found this to be no better than at most hotels in similar categories, and there were no made to order options. Attendants here were prompt and courteous, however they really only cleared dishes and did not serve anything. All considered, and even accounting for the various nuances of similar properties in this region, the Maximilian did not feel like a highly rated hotel, and the overall experience certainly did not come close to reflecting the lofty nightly rate, nor the strong review ranking we all see here.
GGuest UserGreat hotel! Well located to walk along the river into the Old Town. Standard rooms not huge but very well presented and looks like everything was new. Cosy reception area and bar. The staff were super friendly and when we checked in gave us a voucher for a complimentary drink at the bar and when we got to our room we found little Milka chocolates had been left on the pillow which was a really nice touch. Breakfast was also good – variety of things both hot and cold on offer. We would definitely stay here again.
My husband and I stayed here recently with our dog. It was a very nice hotel and I wish I could have stayed longer. We had an amazing view of the town of Natters from our room. The breakfast was tasty. Parking was a breeze. The location was perfect for our visits into Innsbruck using the tram with a station down the street from the hotel. We also enjoyed dinner at the hotel restaurant on our last night and it was delicious. Room service for dessert later that night was a fun treat, as well. We did not use the spa/wellness area which was the only regret as I'm sure it was a very relaxing space. I have already recommended the hotel and would stay again if visiting the Innsbruck area again in the future.
GGuest UserWe originally had our main hotel stay booked in Hintertux. We were paying a lot for the hotel and after considering our long journey from Australia, we figured it may make sense to stay close to the airport at Innsbruck for our first day to get some sleep and continue our journey to Hintertux the next morning. We saved quite a bit of money making this decision and made a great choice! We walked to Penz West from the airport with four suitcases and four back packs. It was five minutes on foot and that was in thick snow! The room was way beyond our expectations for a hotel so close to the airport. It was very spacious, beautifully decorated and included breakfast that was simply magnificent. The hotel also had a wellness area including sauna, steam room, cold plunge shower and a gym. The price was extremely reasonable given all it had to offer us. The staff were very helpful and gave us some local tips about the town of Innsbruck (beautiful Christmas markets) and some mountain trips. We were too tired to do the mountain trips but enjoyed Innsbruck. We could easily have spent more time in this beautiful place and would not hesitate to book Penz West again if we are travelling this route. Mr 11 and 12 year old loved this place!
ZZHIPENGNot far from the city center, there is a small church on the edge of the hotel, listening to the bells of the church feels very comfortable. There is a parking lot, suitable for self-driving tour. Good breakfast, suitable for children, I booked a family room, a double bed, a sofa bed, toilet and toilet are independent.
JJINGLocation: The hotel is located in the old town of Innsbruck, a 15-minute walk from the railway station and a 5-minute walk from the Golden Roof, which is very convenient.
Facilities: The hotel is very mini, the store is small, the elevator is small, the room is small, but it is clean, the room does not have a hot pot, you need to ask the front desk, breakfast is ok, bread, ham, fruit, drinks and salmon.
GGuest UserI really wanted to like this place, right in the middle of the old town with large rooms by European standards. But when the manager threatens to call the cops and makes your sister-in-law cry based on a booking error, well you can only rate it one star. We were two families. My sister-in-law had a family of 5 and booked one of the rooms on ******* that had 2 double beds and a couch. ******* only let her enter 4 guests, which she figured was a limitation of how ******* worked. In any case, it didn't matter, as my family of 4 had booked a different room with the same number of beds, but which definitely slept 6, so we could take an extra person. Fast forward to check-in. When the manager asked my sister-in-law how many people she had, she said 5, at which point he went ballistic. He started calling her a ”f***ing American”, told her to get out of the hotel, and threatened to call the cops. It took several f-bombs later and a bit of help from the rest of the staff (which seemed dismayed at the manager's behavior), until he let her stay. At this point she was in tears. Completely abhorrent behavior. That manager needs a new profession. OH, and everything the review below said about the heat is 100% true. The building is designed like a greenhouse with a big open atrium with skylights at the top. This traps the heat in the building and sends it to the top floor. If you are unlucky enough to have the top floor rooms like the Stadtturm, you will bake. The highs during our stay topped out at only 80 degrees, but you can't get the heat out of the room with one tiny window. They might even promise you a portable air conditioner, but they don't vent it, so it just spits cold air out the front and hot air out the back, for no net gain. NEVER stay on the top floors in the summer here.
Ppeter mLocated on the outskirts of Innsbruck the hostel is relatively easy to get to. From the central station you just walk around the corner and catch the number 3 tram (heading for Amras). After a few stops you get off at `Pilippine-welser strabe’ and then walk for about ten minutes. Incidentally, if your flight is a morning one, don’t turn up at the hostel in the hope of an early check-in as there is no receptionist until 14.00. So unless you want to sit outside and twiddle your thumbs you would be better off placing your bags in one of the rail station lockers and having a look around the city. Our room was small and basic (no television etc.) and our allocated bathroom was across the corridor. But it was all high spec and, in keeping with the rest of the hostel, spotlessly clean. The receptionists were polite, knowledgeable and helpful (don’t forget to ask for your welcome card which gives you free travel on the trams and buses within the city). Breakfast was more than sufficient to keep us going for most of the day, although some might feel that the choice on offer a bit limited. Should we ever return to Innsbruck we’d be happy to stay at the Marmota again.
