First visit to Inverness. Dunhallin House is in a quiet neighborhood a short drive from the center of town. Walking distance to a public golf course/driving range plus nice restaurant (Fairways). Owner booked taxis for us and shared restaurant suggestions. He made our dinner reservations once we chose the restaurants. Rooms were great and quiet, our room had two skylights that opened. No elevator but only two floors. Owner carried our luggage to our rooms. Breakfast was great. They accommodated our diets with more than enough choices. I highly recommend Dunhallin House.

Margaret and Sandy were amazing hosts. They were so attentive to our travel needs. The room was comfortable and immaculate and the breakfast was delicious. It was a perfect location for other Highland destinations. We highly recommend a stay here.

Margaret and Sandy are amazing hosts of this large home that was our base for a 2 nights in and around Inverness. We thoroughly enjoyed the 25-minute walk into Inverness, through some lovely neighbourhoods. Breakfast was delicious and filling. Pre-arrival communications were clear and prompt, and the room was great. The Culloden battlefield is only 12-15 minutes away by car, and absolutely worth it. Take good shoes/boots if it’s rainy. The battlefield paths are often wet and muddy, as they would have been back in 1746.

Excellent experience all round. Quiet, comfortable room and bed, outstanding breakfasts. Hosts always available, communicated well, and without intruding were always there to help and advise. Great base from which to explore area. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed at the Dunhallin House for two nights at the beginning of May and loved our stay. It's a charming Bed and Breakfast. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure our stay was wonderful. Located just over a mile from the Inverness city center, which we walked to for dinner. We will definitely look to stay there again if we make it to the Inverness area in the future.

Anybody else can go there for a wee break or even on a business trip to stay there for a few days. Well cooked breakfast that would give you enough to go out for the whole day! For the kind of comfortable guest house in Inverness area, I would recommend you to book in and stay there.

Stayed two pleasant nights at Dunhallin House. The kind and thoughtful attention by the owners/hosts, Sandy and Margaret, made our visit feel special. Our room was neat and spotless albeit a little cozy in size. Their personally-prepared breakfasts were exceptional with many varied choices. Our favorite was the home-cooked porridge with bananas, cinnamon and honey. Delicious! They even set out complimentary whiskey and sherry for their guests...a nice touch. I highly recommend this super-friendly but never-overbearing or intrusive BnB to others visiting Inverness.
