Meroddi Galata Mansion Reviews

Very nice hotel with great placement! Very quiet and warm rooms, tasty breakfast and good cleaning. Next time we will choose this hotel again!

My review will not be very objective since we did not stay in this hotel, but paid for it. We arrived at this hotel and were told that something happened there and they could not give us a room in this hotel, but they could give us another room in another hotel and better. We agreed and went for the administrator. We went to another hotel of their chain, they told us that another guy would come and take us to another hotel, we went to another and the same thing happened there. As a result, we were checked into a hotel called Meroddi Pera Hotel for the third time, but not in the main building, but next to it (photo attached), the room was on the first floor, we were given an apartment (but not the best), the laminate flooring was all swollen in the hallway. I was near the mosque and shouted Ozan every morning there. Breakfast is very poor. It is better to come to them at 9 am or there is a chance that you will not get anything.

Very well located hotel, the staff is very kind and attentive. Special mention to Mehmet and Mourat the receptionists who were a great idea to discover this beautiful city.

There are 2 Merodis here. When I checked in, the staff told me that a piece of equipment in the hotel was broken and asked me if I could transfer to another Melody. So I went to another Melody, which was only a five-minute walk. Staff will assist with luggage. The Melody I stayed in is on the third floor. There is a small elevator that can accommodate at most 2 people. It is quite interesting to live there. The room I stayed in was an apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 beds, a washing machine, and a kitchen (no cooking). The breakfast is quite satisfactory and can fill you up. The highlight is: the location is good, about 150 meters from Galata, and it takes five or six minutes to walk along the slope to Independence Street. There is a subway entrance just before Independence Street. I have never entered or exited this subway entrance, but I estimate that the subway will sink deeper. Walking downhill, between the two stations of T1 in Istanbul, you can reach it by walking in seven or eight minutes. If you want to go to the Perula Palace Hotel, the Museum of Innocence, or the Galata Bridge, walkers can easily do it in a quarter of an hour. The disadvantages are: the hotel is located on a slope and the road is paved with cobblestones.

Hello...unfortunately I don't have the opportunity to stay in this hotel. On arrival it turned out that there had been an overbooking. Therefore I would be accommodated in the Meroddi LaPorta. It was super nice there. The Galata Mansion has a better location.... The La Porta has the best view at breakfast. Get involved.... Here the focus is on the guest.

Great hotel and the room with a balcony is beautiful) will definitely come back!

Super location and super hotel

It was nice. It was a friendly stay. Breakfast was also delicious. I will stay again if I have the opportunity.
