The hotel is very bad, it is a 1 star hotel, everything is very old, it needs to be renovated from top to bottom.

It is not recommended as very old facilities are being used without improvement. It is far from the city, and as a summer resort hotel, almost no facilities are in operation.

We went for a 4 day break in June the weather was overcast except for 1 day which was a shame as there is not much to do or see here, Kumburgaz is a beach area with a 4 lane road going through the middle connecting the coast with Istanbul, its approx. 40 mins from the airport. We stayed at the Marin Princess Hotel as it was one of the only hotels that had facilities. On arrival I thought OMG where have we come too but the hotel definitely has charm, although its 80's charm. We had a suite.... which was a large room on the 4th floor with windows all the way round, a large bathroom with a spa bath that I was a little frightened to use as it was so old. But the room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel is huge and if a refit was done would be amazing it has 2 large salt water pools and is on the beach with beds and umbrellas and snack bars during the day, our favourite bit was the hammam, it was great and we used it every day this was the best bit of the hotel for us. The clientele are mainly Russian in fact the whole area was Turkish locals and Russian we didn't hear any other Europeans at all which I quite liked. There is a free buffet breakfast which quite frankly was awful the Russians loved it and piled their plates high and filled their plastic bags full of food. There are a few restaurants nearby but you need to walk near the big main road to access them there was a little village about 10 mins down walking on the beach, this area seems to be for people that have apartments so lots of mini markets for food I think it may be more lively in the height of the season but it was quiet mid June.

The hotel was very old , the cleanliness level was very poor , the shower and toilet set was damaged, the staff can not speak English or any other language , they were very tough and unhelpful. The food quality was really really bad . I do not recommend this hotel at all and also was very expensive! Basically my holiday was ruined off

Nice pools, spa.Good breakfast, clean rooms, only some of them in the old part of the hotel, had the smell of smoking rooms and we could not open a window on the 4th floor. The staff was polite, trying to please us, but they do not know English at all and that was a real problem. In general the hotel was ok, but it needs some renovation and the stuff to learn English to have 5 stars. In this case i would give 4stars.But would go there again if given a chance.

old hotel with old furnitures makes me flash back into 90's era. when i enter the room, no daily mineral water, i had to ask reception 2x to get water. in the bathroom, 2 clean towel folded and another 1 towel was hanging behind door. im not sure its used towel from previous guess or what. next morning met an housekeeping staff and i asked 2 new towels (i also gave my 2 old towels) but she didn't understand. breakfast was great and completely satisfying in a big dining hall. but one young woman staff was rudely took my used plate in front of me without saying "excuse me" .

Definitely do not go, we went with 4 people for 50 cc raki and just a few appetizers, they wanted a bill of 7,600 TL. Robbery doesn't work like this, eat and drink at the best place and you won't pay the money. If you don't want to be ripped off, don't go, at least let your money go to a place worth it...

We chose this hotel for the use of H.Sonu pool and wet grounds. The changing rooms near the pools were filled with the smell of toilets and were very poorly maintained and dusty. The lady at the reception of the Turkish bath section has difficulty answering questions. Even though we said we would use the hammam, we could only buy towels, soap and towels in 3 trips. After the money is taken from you at the entrance, it is a situation where everyone is confused with whom. It does not suit a 5 star hotel.

We are here now. This is something terrible. Can't express it in words. There shouldn't even be 2 stars in this hotel. Dirt, everything is below the plinth. Food, service, furniture, walls, floors, elevators, rooms, beach. Everywhere and everyone is trying to f….b. Everything is stuck in the 90s. All the vacationers are shocked, but they gave the money and have nowhere to go. The holiday is ruined. Believe me, there is nothing to do here. Everything is in a ruined state. And the people are rotten.
