It doesn't deserve even a one star. My room, apart from being very small, was very untidy; musquitos all over the place; humidified walls; the furniture demolished, the sheet ripped; the curtains were turned from white into brown because of the dust; very small and bad bathroom (so small, it was very uncomfortable to take care of physiological needs); not enough supply of essentials, extremely poor WiFi in my room; bad room isolation: from my room I could hear someone walking by in the corridor as if we were not seperated by walls. Bad costumer service. The recepsionist was very rude and not hospitable at all. The owner also, while I was asking him something, he kept laughing on his phone, rather than taking care of his clients. Very disappointed.

The hotel environment is not bad. Centrally located with a park nearby. It is very convenient to eat and shop, and it is also very close to the attractions. Convenient transportation, will choose next time.

Me and a friend had a very pleasant stay in the hotel. The staff is absolutely friendly and welcoming. Such helpful people. The hotel is amazing but the staff is another level! The staff who shows genuine interest in listening to the people, patiently explaining about the hotel, country and activities and always smiling. going extra miles to make the visitors happy. Great Hospitality by Mr Ulas, Mr. Aleaddin and Mr. Mehemat where they tried to afford many services to assure our satisfaction and to make our stay amazing. So many adventure tours around the area will make you busy for a week. The hotel is very clean, room is very nice. we had Would highly recommend Seven Room Old City Hotel to everyone. thank you for an amazing hospitality

We went there with two families from Lisbon and Zurich. The hotel is good and if I review it with point it (4 out of 5). This is a 4-star hotel, but for me, it is a 3-star hotel. Staff are amicable, especially the Receptionist, SULE. She was accommodating with information and care, to the hotel guest. If we go again to Istanbul, we go probably to the same hotel.

Overall, the hotel is very good, especially the location is very convenient, close to the spice market, the beach, the bus station, and there are many food nearby. Our room is on the second floor, and we can see a good view of the street market, but the glass is very soundproof and not noisy at all. The area that needs improvement is that the room was not cleaned one day. We asked for cleaning at 7 pm, but the waiter opened the door without knocking and came in (another time we were in the room and asked for a pair of slippers, and then I took the child to take a bath, and my husband took a light nap on the bed. Later, I found that the slippers were already on the table in the room at some point. The waiter didn't seem to knock on the door, so we must lock the door). We asked him to come back after 7 o'clock, but he went out and came back after 9 o'clock and it was not cleaned yet.

Pros: . Staff was very friendly, attentive, and helpful at all times of the day. . Location was ideal for walking to sights and transportation in the Old City. . Rooftop breakfast was perfect: Bosphorous view, great staff, and eggs benedict. Cons: . The electrical controls were nonstandard and confusing. Written instructions would have helped. . Taxi access to this neighborhood is subject to hourly restrictions without a special permit, but we experienced no problems.
