I had a wonderful stay and experience at the Aspera Hotel Altunizade Istanbul. Without a doubt one of my favourite hotels I stayed during my last trip in Istanbul and its all thanks to the best members of staff I’ve ever encountered. Upon arrival I was warmly welcomed by the staff and a manager, the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. I arrived very early and they made an exception of me to check-in earlier so that I could rest. I really appreciate it. Every staff member I encountered, from the valet to the check-in, to the cleaning staff were absolutely delightful and eager to help! The hotel team has always been friendly, patient and helpful. I want to say a special thank you to the amazing Kübra Gürbüz, she is beyond exceptional. I needed a very specific help with the flight and she went above and beyond to help and was so patient and professional and resolved my issue with great determination and spent tremendous amount of time to achieve it. I am eternally grateful to Kübra. She is an absolute delight, beautiful inside and out, professional, extremely efficient, knowledgeable, observant, fluent in English. Kübra gave me all the tips on places to explore in Istanbul and I enjoyed visiting all those places so much. I can’t praise her enough. What a lovely girl! I want to thank Engin as well for his friendliness, all the help, positivity, encouragement, professionalism and for always being so helpful, approachable and smiley. Wonderful people, feels like a family! They made my stay so enjoyable. The atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to me, a true sample of excellent hospitality! The room was very pleasant, it was cozy, clean and comfortable. Hotel and the room had a fantastic charm. Breakfast was excellent and incredibly varied. I stayed at the hotel for 8 days and every morning there was something new. The hotel team has always been friendly, patient and helpful. The location is just perfect. The service was exceptional. The hotel staff was beyond exceptional. On my next stays, I will definitely check into Aspera Hotel Altunizade Istanbul. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone! Thank you again for everything! The service at the Mercure hotel at Altunizade, the hotel room and amenities were amazing, the hotel facilities were great. The most important however was the great service. I have stayed at so many big hotels because of my job, what impressed me the most was this hotel with its service and customer relations. Whatever the time, even midnight they reply fast and are so happy to help in anyway, they really care about the guests and put 100% effort when caring for them. After any complaint or question the hotel follow it up after it has been resolved to ensure you are still happy or if there is anything else you need. The guest service was really good. We were placed in a room in the basement, although not specified during the reservation. We requested room change, they asked for an extra fee as if we were the preferred. The room was incredibly dust and dirty. There were oil traces everywhere. I couldn't put my phone on the comid. We had difficulty sleeping in bed. There is no clothes box in the room. No mini fridge. The floor park and everywhere was buried. The seat in the room has become unsuitable. You don't handle the box in the room, the curtains are swept and smell. We had a lot of difficulty even to stay one night..

Beautiful! Very convenient location. View from the room to Bosporus is amazing! Love it! Breakfast is super good! ❤️🇹🇷

The location is not as convenient that you can walk to the next door convenient shop, however it is within 10mins taxi distance, 20mins to sultanhamet. The life wellbeing concept, gym, spa, hamami amenities are superb!

Ξενοδοχείο στη πλατεία Ταξίμ , σε τοποθεσία που εξυπηρετεί τις μετακινήσεις στο κέντρο της πόλης και βρίσκεις πολλά μαγαζιά και εστιατόρια. Δωμάτια χωρίς καθόλου θέα και με πολύ θόρυβο από το δρόμο. Το πρωϊνό φτωχό, μόνο η θέα από την αίθουσα του πρωϊνού αξίζει.

Well, I booked online for our family of 5 members. They advised they have an apartment suitable for us. When I reached there, we found that the apartment is not in the main building, we have to climb long stairs Infront of the building, then go up a little hill, then go up again the stairs for 3 floors with all the luggage just to find out that the apartment has only one AC in the main room but the other one with the sofa and extra bed has no AC in August!!!! That was very very disappointing since it was never mentioned anywhere, neither that the apartment is in a separate building nor it is in a higher floor or not fully air-condionned but what happened next was what made us feel at home. Bora, the one at the reception, who confirmed my booking then did his best to try shuffling some rooms so we can fit in the main building but since me and the rest of the family were willing to stay together, I suggested to try one night and see if we could handle the heat or we will need to move to more than one room in the main building. At night we had a wonderful window view of the old town and Galata tower that I wouldn't give for any air-conditoned room :))) Despite the apartment was very small and we could barely move but it was really clean and it had everything we could need to feel home. The sound of seagulls woke us up in the morning and we slept watching the moonlight covering Galata Tower at night. A wonderful experience i wish to repeat, we were lucky because it was full moon. They always sent someone to clean and change the bed sheets and towels, and they did their best helping with the luggage up and down. The day of check out, they were very generous, they made a discount on the full amount as an apology we didn't know much about the apartment, and the owner offered us simit and cheese, a very traditional yet yummy Turkish breakfast. I loved the stay, what made it beautiful was the generosity of the staff, how welcoming they were, the cleanness of the place and the unforgettable view of the apartment, I will definitely go back

It was perfect stay for us, hospitality was perfect, location was perfect too.

To begin with, now this hotel is called DNZ TAXIM FERİDİYE HoTEL. I booked a stay for three nights through booking in a deluxe room. Upon arrival, we were given a different room that did not match the description and photo when booking. We returned to the administrator with an attempt to explain that the number was clearly different. He looked for our reservation for a long time, found it, and eventually gave us another room. It was larger and similar in size to the one in the photo, but it did not match in appearance. We were told that there were no other rooms available. In the end, I had to stay in this room. Then we began to examine it in more detail and were in a slight shock. The point was the condition of the room itself: the door trims were broken off, the walls were all chipped to the ground, the sink was loose, the shower hose was frayed, the faucet that was kept on parole. The faucet and fan just stuck out of the wall, everything above the doorway in the bathroom was smeared with cement without any kind of decoration (everything is in the photo). Towels are dirty, with lipstick residue and holes. Bed linen was also in question. The price included breakfast, which again turned out to be not the same as in the photo on bo***********A photo of breakfast is also attached to the review. The main thing there is half a loaf. Arabs work at the front desk, who know a couple of words in English, that is, it is extremely difficult to communicate with them. And finally, the cherry on the cake. We decided that we could not stand here for three nights and leave after two nights. As a result, the administrators canceled our reservation when we checked out, and sent information to booking that we supposedly did not check in. In general, they simply deceive people! I do not recommend this hotel to anyone!

Perfect stay in central of istanbul. Walking distance to Taksim and Galata Tower. Sishane metro and Tophane tram station are also nearby. Room was clean. The only thing we need maybe an electric kettle inside the room to make tea and coffee. And also more variety in the breakfast
