The breakfast was great. The smell of the room was a bit overwhelming. Maybe I was not used to the smell of straw mats. The female service staff in the hotel were very nice and warm.

The hotel is very nice and the hot spring is very comfortable. It is my first time to lie down on the tatami and it feels very interesting and traditional.

Amazing

Except for the older facilities, everything else is pretty good. However, I haven't seen it for several years and found that there are not so many customers. The hot springs are not crowded anymore. The quality of breakfast in the morning has also been reduced, but the rooms are still the same, the hot springs are still the same, and even the parking lot at the entrance is the same. They all remain the same, making people nostalgic for the past.

The service is very good, but there are always bedbugs in the hotel, which affects the later travel experience, so check in with caution

It was nice to be able to enter the private bath at any time as long as the lamp was on and it was vacant without a reservation. It's an old facility, but it was clean and I didn't feel uncomfortable.

A very nice stay if you choose the traditional tatami + futon room, NOT the "western" room - that's a cramped hole on a gloomy exit staircase, separated from other rooms with a heavy door and outdoor hallway, no shower and wifi didn't work there - a big mistake to book it; we were lucky that it was possible to change it for a traditional room - spacious, light, with a shower and much more comfort, good wifi - even though it costs slightly more, it was worth it. The onsen is lovely though old, the staff very nice, the breakfast room elegant and pleasant. It is good to speak a little Japanese. Walkable distance from the station. An affordable choice if you want to make trips in the area.

If your main purpose is to bathe in the hot springs at Ito Onsen, this ryokan offers excellent cost performance. 1 night stay with breakfast only, no dinner. There are many sushi restaurants between the ryokan and Ito Station, and the ryokan has a map of recommended restaurants. Breakfast is a buffet starting at 7am. It's comparable to a business hotel breakfast. The room is old but very spacious. With bathroom and toilet. The hot springs have two large public baths and three private baths. All of these private baths are wonderful. All hot springs are fed directly from the source. The front staff is also very helpful. This costs 7,000 yen on weekdays and 9,000 yen even on the day before holidays.

It's a waste. It's spoiled anyway. Maybe it was just bad luck, but a group of 5 men and women with tattoos (family? I put my luggage on the floor and headed to the public bath, but I waited for more than 30 minutes until the party was already taking a bath and left. I was very surprised to see him staying for a long time without any pain.It is completely unimaginable in a hotel or hot spring inn, and I don't think I will ever experience it again. As the name of "Bath Lover's Inn" suggests, the large public bath is good, there are 3 types of private baths, and the bathroom in the guest room is also a hot spring, so it was very good.Other than that, the staff was very good. I think other inns are good, but if you look like you're ignoring tattoo guests, I think ordinary customers will hesitate to visit. If it was good, I was thinking of staying consecutive nights, but I'm sorry that I stayed only one night.
