First of all it was very hard to find the little lane to pull into off 40W to enter actual Hotel. Went in, recieved our keys went to our rooms. Entered room to find it looking like a Super 8 motel not a Marriott Hotel! The fridge is in a cupboad on the floor very little. Went to look for room microwave and not in room. Tried calling front desk no answer. Went to front desk n waited n waited for lady who was at desk for 10 min. Yelled hello... knocked on counter n she finally came. Found out no micriwaves in rooms only on 1st level by entrance. Got some hospitality coffee and only 1/2 n 1/2 available no other creamers. Poured coffee etc went back to room. Coffee was cool! Not kool but cool.. Wasnt going back downstairs again for a dejavue! If we hadnt drove for 8 1/2 hours would have def went to another Marriott. Beds were so so.. but being tired and no other choice slept in them. I do not recommend this hotel to anybody and if i could give it 0 stars i would.

Friendly, clean, quiet and comfy
Quiet hotel, very clean, very comfy. Front desk was the friendliest ever, with fresh cookies to boot. Very customer service oriented and one of the more pleasant experiences recently.

Would stay here again.
The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good. Even though it is not a newer facility, it was clean. All the things you want while you are traveling.

Fairfield Inn Richmond Indiana
Older hotel with some new paint and carpet. That's about it. This hotel is not up to Marriott standard's, small bathrooms which are desparetly in need of a make over, I've stay at lats of Marriotts in my time in this hotel felt more like a Comfort Inn, looked like a Comfort Inn but with a Fairfield Inn sign on it's front. Hotel was clean, staff friendly, so that was ok. Hotel in my opinion is way over priced, this is no more than a $80 hotel at best. Finally, obviously these high ratings that you see on here are from people that have never stayed at a real Marriott, believe me there's a big difference.

Construction
After getting in late around 2am I woke woken up by constant construction over my room. Saws, routers, dropping tools, loud walking ect. I was less than happy

Caught in a storm
We got caught in winter storm Elliot. Booked while caught in I70 closure/reopening. The lady at check-in was great, plus the stress of the storm and all of the last min need for rooms! The room (319) was ok but the heater was really loud when it ran. Have a recording but seems i can't upload video.

Great stay
A very comfortable stay. Room was huge! We had two queen beds and there was plenty of room for a crib or for kids to play. Fortunately, our kids are grown so we didn’t have to share!!
The breakfast had great potential but the gal at the front desk was also trying to keep the food stocked.
Easy off and on the interstate and Richmond has tons of places to eat. Will for sure stay again.
