Hotels in Quancheng Plaza Commercial Area, Jinan

The executive benefits here are an absolute joke! I bought a hotel package voucher, and specifically called ahead before booking to ask if I could pay extra to upgrade to an executive floor and get a late checkout until 4 PM. I only booked after getting confirmation. I even switched to this InterContinental for the last day of my trip, partly because I had such a great experience at another InterContinental in a provincial capital, so I trusted the brand. However, when I went to the front desk today to confirm my checkout time before heading out, I said I wanted to check out at 3 PM, and they told me no, the latest was 2 PM. They even pulled out a little card to show me the phrase ”subject to availability.” They didn't mention any big events or a sudden surge in tourism these past two days; otherwise, how tight could room availability be on a Monday/Tuesday right after summer vacation? The executive lounge was also incredibly disappointing. With service like this, the hotel still has the audacity to chase after 5-star reviews after checkout. They took every penny they were due, but I never saw a butler, and my requests were directly rejected, with implications that my requests were unreasonable. It's like I'm just a fool who paid extra for a room on a higher floor. P.S. The 2 stars for service are for housekeeping; otherwise, I wouldn't even give one.

Great location, close to daming lake, wulongtan park and baotu spring. You can just scan hello bike and ride around to explore the city easily. There was a metro construction going on in front of the hotel while I stayed there, so staff offered me a quiet room facing the back side of the hotel, very considerate and mindful. Meanwhile cleanliness is a let down. Found this bug at the toilet floor. Noise cancelling wasn’t very great either, you can hear neighbours having great night while walking down the corridor lol Other than that, bed is comfortable, air con works just fine and AI smart home is A+ made your life easier.

The hotel environment is quite good, and the high floor offers an excellent view of the square and Daming Lake. It's within walking distance to Baotu Spring, Black Tiger Spring, and other nearby attractions. Taxis are also very convenient, and there's even a security guard at the entrance who helps open car doors.

For this trip, I chose Yihau Hotel for a one-night stay. The front desk proactively called to ask about my room preferences and upgraded my room type. The hotel is very conveniently located, and the elevators are fast. On the day of check-in, I received a fruit platter. The breakfast at the revolving restaurant on the 49th floor was plentiful, featuring local specialties like 'bazi rou'. It's very convenient for getting around; there's a supermarket downstairs at Yinzuo where I bought some local souvenirs. It's about a 10-minute bike ride to Daming Lake. Overall, I was very satisfied.

The hotel is super close to Qilu Hospital, literally just across the street. It's only a four or five-minute walk. The front desk staff were absolutely amazing, very proactive and helpful. The room was spacious and very clean. It was also very quiet with excellent soundproofing. I just forgot to take pictures.

The Hyatt Regency Jinan boasts an unbeatable location, right next to the Wanda business district, with easy walking access to Baotu Spring and Furong Street. The rooms are well-proportioned with expansive city views from the floor-to-ceiling windows. The bedding is soft, and soundproofing is excellent. Bathroom fixtures are reliable, and you can enjoy city street views while bathing. Breakfast incorporates local Jinan specialties like 'Tianmo' and 'Bazi Rou,' which are authentically delicious. The executive lounge offers an extensive spread, perfect for a light meal. The staff is prompt and attentive, with thoughtful details like turndown service and welcome fruit. The only minor drawback is that the hotel has been open for a while, so the interior decor of the standard rooms feels a bit heavy. Overall, however, these minor flaws don't detract from its quality, making it a top choice for business travelers and those visiting the City of Springs.

This is a newly opened hotel with excellent, modern facilities. The gym is conveniently located next to the breakfast area. Speaking of breakfast, it's fantastic – a wide variety of delicious options. After indulging, my child actually went to the gym next door to work out! The guest rooms have mini-fridges, and they even provided complimentary Coke and Sprite. The 2 PM late check-out was a nice touch. The location is superb, very close to nearby attractions. Highly recommended!

The front desk service was excellent and very welcoming. The room was spotless, with no dust or odors. The mattress and pillows were also very comfortable, helping to relieve travel fatigue. The front desk staff were very patient in providing directions. It's the perfect place to stay when traveling. The room was odorless and very close to the scenic area.

The hotel is right inside Daming Lake scenic area, and the views outside are picturesque. It was too hot to walk much during the day, so an evening stroll by the lake was very pleasant. Getting to the pier was also quick. The front desk staff were very attentive, proactively offering a golf cart service to help with luggage. However, for elderly guests with mobility issues, after being dropped off by a taxi by the roadside, they still have to climb a high bridge and walk a distance to reach the hotel. Also, since it's in a park, you might be startled by old men clearing their throats during their morning exercises early in the morning. Additionally, there weren't enough power outlets by the bed, which I hope they improve upon.

My overall stay at the Platinum Hotel & Residence was excellent. The location is superb, making it easy to get around. Right opposite the hotel is Liu Xiaomang's Baziro restaurant, which was incredibly convenient for meals. The room decor was simple and clean, and I appreciated the comfortable dry/wet separation in the bathroom. They even provided 2.5L of hydrogen water, delivered milk and small pastries, and offered freshly ground coffee on the ground floor – very thoughtful touches. The only minor issue was with the breakfast vouchers. I had two vouchers for the 15th and hoped to combine them with the two for the 16th so my family of four could eat together, but the front desk said it wasn't allowed. As a result, we missed breakfast, which I can understand. Overall, it's great value for money, and I'd consider staying here again on my next trip to Jinan.
