"Classic Huazhu Hotel trap of misleading photos. The pictures show rooms with full-wall windows, but in reality, most rooms only have small, half-wall windows. I had to switch rooms several times to get one with a larger window, and none of them were floor-to-ceiling. Aside from the restaurant, the second floor of the hotel is rented out as office space. The robot service is quite slow. It took about 10 minutes for it to arrive each time. The material used for the headboard panel was poor quality and had a strong glue smell, which really affected my sleep as I'm sensitive to such things. On the plus side, there were indeed two sinks in the bathroom."

The room is spacious, with a double bed and a single sofa bed, so no one has to squeeze. The breakfast on the 49th floor wasn't the best experience, probably because of the crowds. Overall, I'd recommend it for families with older children 😊"

As for the location, it wasn't suitable for traveling to take exams in bad weather. The taxi driver told me the area was remote and difficult to hail a taxi, suggesting I book one in advance."

"Booked two rooms for my elderly parents and kids. They upgraded us for free, which was a nice surprise. The front desk staff were very friendly and even gave us an extra power card. The room had six bottles of water, which was great. The hotel is centrally located, just a few minutes by bike or electric scooter to all the attractions, and there are plenty of food options nearby. The beds weren't too soft, so we slept very comfortably. I also liked the motion-sensor light in the bathroom at night."

"It was my first time visiting Zhangqiu. I chose the Manxin Hotel. It truly exceeded my expectations. The service was excellent, and they upgraded us to a room with a view. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. The hotel has a self-service laundry room and a fitness room. They also have their own small garden, outdoor barbecues, singing performances, and a bonfire and fireworks show. Unfortunately, it rained and I didn't get to see them. I'll definitely go back next time."
Xueyehu Holiday Hotel
"Xueye Lake is quite large. This hotel seems to be hosting some conferences and events; the occupancy rate is decent. There are many other guesthouses and hotels nearby, but it doesn't seem very crowded. There's a boardwalk and a beach behind the hotel; it's a 5-minute walk to the water to play in the water, which is quite beautiful. The only downside is the sheer number of mosquitoes; I didn't dare stay outdoors for long periods."

"Advantages: Free upgrade to a business suite with lake view, with a full view of Xueye Lake. There is plenty of drinking water in the room, and free bottled water is everywhere in the hotel. The hotel has comprehensive recreational facilities, including multi-person bicycles for rent, which can reach various locations in the hotel, floating bridges for camping and barbecue by the lake, and a swimming pool. There are buffets in the morning, noon and evening, and it is convenient to eat. It is very close to the scenic spot, and it is very convenient to take a boat, climb, and have a farmhouse. Disadvantages: 1. There are not many bicycles for rent, and there is no reminder of the end time of the night when you can't ride. 2. The food is mostly Chinese, and there is almost no Western food. The children want to eat hamburgers and fries, but there is no place to order. 3. There is no lotion in the room, and I hope it will be provided in the future."

"The hotel is right next to Baotu Spring, the 'First Spring under Heaven', making it super convenient to get to the scenic area. A pleasant surprise was how close it was to Lao She's former residence. As soon as I entered the room, I noticed a fresh spring water smell. For breakfast, there was a great variety of dishes, including fruits and cakes, and everything tasted delicious. The bed was very comfortable and soft. Overall, it was an excellent stay."

"This used to be the Crowne Plaza Jinan, a high-end brand, before it was upgraded to the Greenfield Intercontinental in 2017. The security and front desk staff were very welcoming and enthusiastic. The suite I stayed in this time had decent views, overlooking half Parc 66 and half Quancheng Square. The breakfast selection was rich, offering both Chinese and Western options, though I arrived closer to closing time and found the taste to be just okay. The TV in the suite's living room was oddly placed, not directly facing the sofa. I can understand why; the master bedroom door takes up a wall, and if the TV were centered to the sofa, the layout would look strange. Since I don't watch much TV, it didn't bother me much. However, the air conditioning was subpar. Even set to 16 degrees, it stayed around 26-27 degrees Celsius throughout the night, only cooling down slightly in the early morning and during the day. Overall, I'm still quite satisfied and hope the air conditioning works better on my next stay."

"The environment and hygiene are excellent. It's a bit far from the old town center, but the breakfast is really rich and varied. The gym opens at 6 AM, and breakfast starts at 6:30 AM."

"Had a great stay. The location is easy to find, and the Impression Jinan shops nearby offer a truly authentic local experience. The room was clean and comfortable. It's not far from the attractions, and getting around by taxi or subway is very convenient. The service was excellent. Guest Relations Manager Lorna is very warm and thoughtful; she always arranges the room perfectly for us whenever we visit. They even promptly contacted me and mailed back an item I left behind in the room. It's really great. Jinan is a city where the bustling areas and the local, down-to-earth vibes are quite distinctly separated, with a strong sense of local life. Most importantly, the prices are very reasonable, with no obvious premium, which is fantastic. I'll definitely be back!"

Both adults and children were satisfied. Dining was conveniently downstairs, and the laundry room was clean and easy to use. This is always our first choice whenever we come to Jinan, consistently excellent!"
