The concierge staff were proactive in helping with luggage. Vera Liu at the front desk upgraded us to a room with a view of Daming Lake. The room was spacious, housekeeping kept it clean and tidy, and the breakfast had a good variety, with the braised pork being particularly tasty. All in all, my friend had a very pleasant stay!"

The room was very clean, and the view outside our window was directly of Baotu Spring's White Dragon Spring – truly like sleeping by the water's edge. It's also really close to major attractions like Quancheng Square, Furong Street, and Daming Lake. Plus, the room even had purified spring water! The Majia Spring Water Buns across from the hotel are delicious. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit."

"The room has nothing complain about. It was great. I would like to appreciate their extra effort.I am a foreign traveler and checking in at 11:30pm and all staffs was friendly,welcomed and openminded. Since it’s very close to Airport,their guests might be heading to Airport always, but I really appreciated their airport shuttle bus info giving me very clearly and quickly while I am checking in. Shuttle bus departs at 5am taking me airport for 15mins. They also give all 5am guests the breakfast. I was surprised their service. I would recommend to staying here for not only Chinese, but also foreigner travellers."

The overall service was alright, but during check-in, I kept running into other guests cutting in to ask questions, which disrupted the service a bit! It would be so simple to just have an information desk or a lobby manager where people could get their questions answered. I’ve seen similar situations in other cities, and it just cheapens the overall experience. Details like this really reflect the overall service standard. They said they upgraded my room to one with a better view, which was a slight improvement over what I originally booked, but without a direct comparison, I can't really tell the true difference. It lacks the grandiosity of other luxury hotels, and the perks are pretty stingy. It's really just a big name."

"Facilities: The hotel facilities are decent and nicely decorated; it feels quite refined. However, compared to other Mercure hotels I've stayed at before, the overall quality seems to have noticeably declined, though I'm not sure why.
Cleanliness: The cleanliness is quite subpar. The hotel hasn't been open for many years, yet some areas already look old and the maintenance is poor. You can wipe dust off many surfaces. The first room we checked into smelled heavily of smoke, but after contacting the front desk, they changed our room, which was much better.
Environment: The hotel's location is pretty good, being close to the high-speed train station, making it convenient for late-night arrivals at Jinan West Station.
Service: The service was alright; they were reasonably quick to deliver requested items.
Breakfast: The breakfast quality was very average, and there weren't many options.
Overall: There are many hotel choices near Jinan West Station. At this price point, the Mercure brand is quite affordable, but the cleanliness here is just so-so. I'm not sure about the other hotels in the area."

"This newly opened hotel is truly excellent. The rooms are spacious and bright, making for a very comfortable stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful, always willing to assist with any issues. The hotel has its own parking lot, which is convenient, and it also has charging facilities for electric vehicles. The owner is incredibly honest and attentive, arranging everything for RV supplies, charging, and water replenishment. It offers exceptional value for money, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip."

"The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Baotu Spring, Black Tiger Spring, Quancheng Square, and Kuanhouli. The reception service was warm and responsive to our needs. The hygiene was good, and there were plenty of public facilities like a reading room, laundry room, and gym. My only minor complaints were that the showerhead holder in the room was loose, and the automatic flushing function of the toilet wasn't working properly. The original room I booked was on the second floor, in a corner, and felt a bit cramped due to the floor height. Because of this, I became a member and upgraded my room. Overall, though, the room sizes are generally on the smaller side."

The hotel is centrally located on Jingsi Road, connecting the old and new parts of the city. It's within walking distance to shopping areas like Parc 66 and a 5-minute drive to Baotu Spring, and 10 minutes to attractions like Daming Lake. Jinan Railway Station is also very close, making transportation extremely convenient. The only slight downside is the relatively small underground parking, so self-drivers should plan ahead. The hotel opened in 2011 and was renovated in 2019. The rooms beautifully combine vintage charm with a clean feel. My deluxe king room was spacious and bright, with 270-degree floor-to-ceiling windows offering excellent natural light and city views. The room amenities were complete, the mattress comfortable, and the marble bathroom met five-star standards. While it doesn't have the trendy newness of a newly built hotel, the quality is definitely there, making it suitable for business travelers, families, and leisure guests alike."
