MM557207****For this trip, I chose the Atour S Hotel in Shunhe. Even before I arrived, the hotel butler called to ask about my estimated arrival time and pre-assigned a room, which significantly sped up the check-in process once I got there. The front desk's thoughtful service continued to impress me during check-in. It was a very satisfying stay overall – the facilities are complete, the hygiene is meticulous, the breakfast is plentiful, and the location is excellent.

EEvoFunkHonest Review of The Madison Hotel, Jinan – Good but Not 4-Star Standard According to Trip.com’s grading system, The Madison Hotel is listed as a Trip Plus 4-star hotel, but based on our recent stay, we believe it falls short of that rating. While we had a mostly pleasant experience, there were noticeable issues that prevent us from agreeing with the 4-star classification. The Positives - Check-in & Staff: The reception team was friendly, and one staff member could communicate a little in English, which was helpful. - Room Comfort: Our room was spacious and nicely decorated, with a very comfortable bed. The air conditioning worked well and allowed individual adjustment. - Amenities: We appreciated the complimentary bottled waters and two soft drinks restocked daily in the fridge. - Location: The hotel is conveniently located inside Wanda Mall, making shopping and dining easily accessible. The Negatives (Why It’s Not 4-Star) - Cleanliness Issues: The room wasn’t cleaned to a 4-star (or even 3-star) standard. We found nail clippings on the bedside mat, indicating poor vacuuming. - Shower Water Pressure: The water pressure in the shower was quite low, which was inconvenient. - Breakfast Limitations: While the Asian food options were good, there were very few Western choices. Additionally, the Western cutlery felt sticky and wasn’t properly cleaned. - Staff Sleeping at Reception: On our second morning, when we tried to check out early, the reception staff were asleep on the couches. We understand they may have been exhausted, but this is unprofessional for a 4-star hotel. Final Verdict The Madison Hotel is a decent option, but we’d rate it as a solid 3-star hotel, not 4-star. If you prioritize location and comfort over luxury service and cleanliness, it’s a reasonable choice. However, management should address housekeeping and staff training to meet higher standards. Would we stay again? Possibly, but with adjusted expectations. Rating: ★★★☆☆ (3/5) – Good, but not 4-star.

GGuest UserEnvironment: It takes less than 5 minutes to get to the Laotun subway station, which is very convenient. Hygiene: The room is spacious, clean and tidy, and you can see that it is cleaned frequently. I soaked in the bathtub after a tiring day, which was very comfortable 😌, and I felt that every pore was taken care of. Service: I checked in at almost 11 o'clock in the evening. The waiter was very friendly and not impatient at all. When I entered the room, I saw the prepared snacks. People who like to eat midnight snacks said it was very heartwarming 🥰 Facilities: The do not disturb function in the room is really great. I can sleep until the sun rises the next day. It's really great. Once the curtains are drawn, no one loves them. The airtightness is great. When I left, the souvenirs I was given included masks. Tears welled up in my eyes🥹. I didn't expect there would be so many catkins in Jinan when I came here, so I didn't prepare them. I didn't expect the hotel to be so considerate and prepare them. When I arrived near Baotu Spring, there were as many catkins as the wind. Thanks to the hotel for providing them😷🥳 I will come to this hotel again next time I come to Jinan. The bed is very comfortable and everything is great. I don't want to leave😋

GGuest UserHad such a comfortable stay at this hotel! The service was incredibly warm and attentive; any request was met with immediate assistance. The amenities were comprehensive – charging outlets and a hairdryer were readily available and very convenient to use. The room was spotlessly clean: the sheets and pillowcases were pristine, and the desk surfaces gleamed. Breakfast was hot and hearty, featuring soy milk, steamed meat buns, and boiled eggs. The late-night congee service was a particularly thoughtful touch. The environment was also very quiet; there was no noise at night, ensuring a wonderful night's sleep. I'll definitely choose this hotel again!

XXiaochaigouThis hotel is well-equipped with excellent facilities and is very well-managed. The rooms are spacious, and the service is highly satisfactory, making it ideal for both large conferences and individual stays. We particularly appreciated the welcome gift on our first day (complimentary drinks, fruits, and snacks in the room), and the restaurant even offered free small treats like fruits and yogurt. Upon check-out, we received a complimentary farewell gift (pastries), which added a lovely touch of warmth. It's a highly recommended hotel.

GGuest UserAdvantages First, the service: the front desk upgraded the room for free and delayed the time to 1 o'clock Second, the environment: the room is very spacious, the quilt is very comfortable, and there are many light ***** modes. Disadvantages First, it is very, very soundproof! No soundproof! There was an online interview in the room next to us (don't ask me why I know, I heard it), and I could hear the speeches of other people in the computer clearly. How to say it, it was as if we were in the same room, and the wall in the middle was like a layer of paper. There was a lot of traffic in the morning, and I was woken up very early. Second, the names of two other hotels were written on the bathroom towels and pillows. These two hotels are not chains or Licheng Jundun. I am skeptical about whether the source of the hotel facilities is clean.
