After our May Day trip to Dongying and Weifang, we passed through Zhangqiu on our way back to Shanxi. We found this unique B&B online and were quite taken by it. Overall, the B&B has a lot of character. Our family of six booked two rooms, and they thoughtfully placed us in the same courtyard. The courtyard is beautiful, with a camping table and a rocking chair. The rooms are Japanese-style with a balcony, offering lovely views of the stream and flowers – truly a secluded retreat away from the city. The kids absolutely loved it. The breakfast was simple but well-balanced and nutritious; the 'nine-grid' breakfast was quite novel. The room also had a small tub for soaking, though we weren't sure if it was a hot spring; it didn't quite feel like one. As for drawbacks, the room was a bit small, and there was no table or cabinet for placing items (aside from a wardrobe for hanging clothes), so there wasn't much space for other odds and ends. Luckily, we didn't have too many things. The toilet was electric. It's a very poetic place, and if the price is right, I highly recommend staying here.

The hotel is quite new, with a beautiful modern Chinese-style decor and is spotlessly clean. The facilities are comprehensive and fully functional. The slippers provided are thick and comfortable. The handheld shower hose is a bit stiff; it would be easier to adjust the direction if it were made of a softer material. The breakfast is delicious, offering both Chinese and Western options with a wide variety of choices, including many local specialties like Tianmo, Bazirou with rice, shrimp potstickers, Shandong steamed buns, and lamb soup. They thoughtfully provide a 'Top 10 Must-Try' list on the tables, which is very helpful for avoiding bad choices. I especially enjoyed the lamb soup and roujiamo. The yogurt and cakes are also quite good. Our butler, Zhenzhen, was incredibly helpful and responsive, always answering our questions instantly. Her service was absolutely impeccable, definitely a five-star experience!

The room was clean and tidy, but the TV was awful. The pool must have been rented out because it was so dirty. There were no regular channels, just infomercials. I've never seen anything like it! If they don't improve their management, they'll definitely go out of business! The price was around 400 yuan, which is cheap, but the service needs a lot of improvement.

I have to commend the hotel's switchboard operator! The call was answered quickly, the voice was gentle and polite, and transfers to rooms and departments were efficient and seamless. Queries were handled patiently and thoroughly, responses were prompt, and the entire process was professional and proper. Just one phone call was enough to experience Hilton's high-quality service – an excellent experience. They are always ready to help. The hotel scenery is fantastic, definitely worth staying.

Although very few people can speak English, the staff members made it so easy for me to know where to go for breakfast and helping me with everything I asked or needed. The hotel is situated in the most beautiful scenic area and has great facilities. There is even a Starbucks in the hotel. I met one of the managers named Eddie and he can speak English. He was kind and friendly and said that if I need any assistance I can ask the front desk to contact him and he will help me. The breakfast was delicious with so many different options to choose from. I would’ve stayed there for a week if I could. Amazing experience. Thank you to all the staff members, you made it so easy.

1. The hotel is located across from the Olympic Sports Center, so the location is pretty good. It's set up as a quasi-five-star hotel, with all the expected amenities. 2. There are some restaurants and convenience stores nearby. 3. The service is excellent and friendly, and there's plenty of hot water. Downsides: 1. The air conditioning in the room was broken, but a technician arrived quickly. 2. The room key card didn't work to open the door, and I had to call to have another one delivered. (The video of this was less than 5 seconds, so I couldn't upload it). 3. The door was broken and wouldn't lock. 4. There were plenty of parking spaces, but I couldn't find an available spot. 5. The bedsheets felt very damp, making it uncomfortable to sleep. 6. The soundproofing is terrible; it was so noisy I couldn't sleep. 7. Food was delivered by a robot, and when it was busy, a staff member delivered it, which was a nice touch. However, apart from the service, everything else was a letdown.

The hotel is near Jinan West railway station. The staff is very polite. I have been in Jinan for 6 days, and visited 3 hotels. This is the best, the price is a little expensive but it's worth it. The view from the 18th floor

The hotel is located in the old town, making it very convenient for getting around. The breakfast offers a wide variety of options and the quality is good. They also have an evening buffet which is very affordable. The pool facilities are excellent, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I was even able to get a late check-out.

There was no pushy upselling, just the perfect amount of thoughtful kindness. A 'Happy Anniversary' from the front desk during check-in, and even a handwritten card from the general manager in our room – every detail exuded sophistication and care. The soundproofing in the room was excellent, and the bedding was as soft as clouds, giving us an incredibly peaceful night's sleep. On this special day, thank you for weaving a sparkling memory for us with your genuine service. I will definitely be coming back again and again!
