"The receptionist was incredibly kind. We arrived before midnight and the room was available after a short wait. The room smelled wonderful as soon as we went up to the 19th floor, which made us feel very safe. The room was spacious and clean, and the location was great. Ridesharing and Didi were both available, and it wasn't far from the subway station. It was excellent value for money, and we were very satisfied with our hotel booking."

"The hotel's location is great, and the facilities and hygiene are also good, as is the service. However, there were two things I wasn't entirely satisfied with. First, the breakfast was a bit disappointing; out of four dishes, only one looked appealing, and the pastries were just average. Second, check-in took quite a while. After driving for over six hours with elderly family members, we arrived after 2 PM. One room took nearly 20 minutes, and the other took over an hour (we were told there was a group checking in). We understood and waited patiently, but it meant we had to cancel our afternoon plans and just stay at the hotel. The next day, we hastily visited half of Wulongtan Park and half of Daming Lake before leaving Jinan."

"This time, my friend and I came to Jinan to visit the Shandong Museum. After comparing various options, we chose this hotel. It's not far from the museum, located in the CBD area, surrounded by high-rise buildings, which was a great experience overall. The room was spacious and the facilities were new, with a sofa, coffee table, and desk. The room lighting was just the right brightness for my taste, which I was very happy with. When we arrived, we wanted a room on a higher floor, and the front desk accommodated our request and also informed us about parking. The hotel has a free underground parking lot, so parking is convenient, and those driving don't need to worry about parking. The front desk service was incredibly warm and attentive, always ready to help, making us feel very comfortable and welcome. There are many convenience stores and fast food restaurants nearby, making shopping easy. There's a delicious noodle shop nearby that I ate at twice. The hotel also offers breakfast, which is varied, fresh, and tasty, including freshly cooked wontons, noodles, and hand-pulled pancakes. There were also desserts, but I don't like sweets, so I didn't try them. Overall, I was satisfied with the breakfast. I slept very well that night; the bedding was just the right firmness, and the pillows were very comfortable. The hotel offers great value for money, especially considering the reasonable price this season, and the overall experience was excellent. Definitely worth a positive review."

GGuest UserI'm an American here in China studying kung fu for the year and took a trip to Jinan for a short weekend getaway to unwind a bit. I really enjoyed the Atour Light hotel! It's my second time staying in an Atour hotel and I have once again been left wanting for nothing. My Chinese is actually atrocious but the front desk staff was helpful and kind. The room was clean and, I must say, I generally really hate bathrooms and need to wear a pair of slippers just to enter the facility but this has not been the case at either of the Atour hotels I've stayed at. The ambience is great, the amenities perfect for what I was looking for, and the location beyond excellent. Local food stops right outside the gate of the hotel and, if you're a westerner looking for something familiar, McDonald's is right around the corner too. No need for that though, the local feed hits the spot. All that to say, I have no complaints. Great service, great room, great location. 10/10 recommend.

Facilities: The hotel has complete facilities and a small independent courtyard. It is very quiet and comfortable, without the hustle and bustle of the city, just like a paradise. Free parking in the hospital and new energy charging piles are so convenient, completely eliminating the worries of new energy car owners looking for charging piles.
Hygiene: The hotel's hygiene is very good, the rooms are clean and tidy, and the stay is very comfortable. The hotel lobby is also very tidy, giving people a warm feeling of returning home.
Service: There is nothing to say about the service. The lady at the front desk saw that we had children and felt that the 1.5-meter bed in the zero-pressure king room we booked would be a bit crowded, so she upgraded it to a 1.8-meter king room for free. The front desk also prepared some for the children. There were many small toys and snacks, and the children had a lot of fun playing with them. Fruits are given for check-in, and small gifts are given for check-out, which makes people feel warm.
Transportation: The hotel is 3 to 4 kilometers away from several scenic spots in Jinan such as Baotu Spring, Daming Lake, Dafo Temple, Furong Street, Quancheng Square, etc. It is very convenient to travel by car, taxi, and bus. There is a bus stop at the door with multiple routes. The bus goes directly to the attractions, which is very convenient.
Catering: Because the room type was booked earlier, it was very cost-effective and did not include breakfast. I upgraded to a membership at the front desk for 99 yuan, and breakfast for 4 adults and 1 child was perfectly solved. The breakfast at the hotel is very good, very rich and delicious. I feel that two days of breakfast has greatly increased my appetite and I can eat a lot😁

Beware of doing business with suppliers from JINAN. This city is notorious for steel and metal scams. Scammers may bring you to a factory, show you stock, loading pictures, and even offer detailed assurances, but don’t trust it. The final result will likely be a loss of money. Proceed with extreme caution and verify all details before committing to any deals. Police, Chinese friends, or others are often helpless in resolving these issues.

AAL1988This hostel is exactly what a solo traveler needs. It’s near a metro station with a good price and lots of equipment.
The hostel is big enough and everyone has his own locker and slippers. The hostel staff are very friendly and helpful.
The beds are comfortable and there is an AC in every room. I totally suggest this hostel to anyone coming to Jinan staying short or long.
The location is right behind the Daming Hu (Daming Lake) and there are various shops around it.
I stayed in this hostel for more than a week and I was absolutely amazed and satisfied.

LLamlamlalaThe day before check-in, the hotel butler added me on WeChat and provided instructions on how to reach the hotel. There's a dedicated hotel parking lot, so no need to go to the customer service center first. Just navigate directly to 'Shuangquan Hotel Parking' and head to the hotel lobby to check in.
Service: There was no concierge staff to help with luggage, but the front desk staff were quite good, answering all our questions. Both of our reserved rooms were upgraded. When one room card was lost, the front desk receptionist replaced it for free, and their service attitude was excellent.
Environment: The environment is pretty good, and the location is arguably excellent. It's right near the Tourist Service Center, making it convenient to get everywhere! It's also very close to the shuttle bus terminal at the customer service center, just a few minutes' walk. If you have enough time, you can even walk to various scenic spots instead of taking the shuttle.
We got complimentary breakfast buffets for both rooms on the second floor of the hotel. The setting is nice, and the variety and taste are decent.
I brought my baby, and I had requested a bed rail in advance, but they could only install it on one side, and it wasn't very sturdy. The baby toiletries only included a toothbrush, toothpaste, and slippers. The sink was a bit high for a baby; I'd suggest providing a step stool, otherwise, an adult has to hold the baby to wash hands, which is inconvenient.
Overall, the hotel is quite good, and staying within the scenic area is super convenient! I'll definitely stay at Shuangquan again next time!

GGuest UserLocation is absolutely fantastic: This guesthouse is tucked away in Qifang Alley, truly offering a tranquil escape right in the heart of the bustling city. Just a short walk outside brings you to Furong Street and Quancheng Road, and it's super convenient to get to Daming Lake and Baotu Spring. Yet, the moment you step back into the courtyard, the city's hustle and bustle instantly fades away.
Courtyard experience: I was truly amazed the moment I pushed open the courtyard gate. The courtyard room comes with its own small private yard, complete with bluestone slabs and trickling spring water. It instantly felt like I was transported back to the misty江南 (Jiangnan) region. Sitting in the courtyard during the day, sipping tea and enjoying the breeze while looking at the mottled brick walls, was incredibly relaxing and pleasant. It was the perfect way to experience the laid-back lifestyle of old Jinan.
Room amenities: The room is very well-equipped and spotlessly clean. The decor has a sophisticated New Chinese style, which is both antique and elegant, yet with a modern, luxurious touch. It's also perfect for taking photos! The bedding is very comfortable, and the stand-alone bathtub is an absolute godsend for unwinding.

GGuest UserI'm absolutely captivated by this hidden gem of a hotel! From the moment I stepped in, I felt the incredibly attentive service. The lady at the front desk had such a sweet smile and patiently answered all my questions, making the check-in experience absolutely seamless. The biggest surprise was the rooftop terrace BBQ. Enjoying skewers and beer with the evening breeze was simply delightful, and every dish was incredibly flavorful!
I particularly want to highlight the attention to detail in their service. When they found out I needed the restaurant to help slice some salmon, the staff member didn't hesitate, immediately slicing and plating it, and even thoughtfully provided dipping sauce. It was such a heartwarming gesture!
From the service and overall stay experience to the food, everything was impeccable. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in the area, and I highly recommend it to everyone!

This hotel is really renting out apartment units with some helpful amenities like laundry machine and refrigerator (although unplugged to save energy). However, the room itself is in rather poor condition, with stains and cracked paint on the walls and ceilings, and holes in the towels. Some towels are the disposable type that are wasteful and uncomfortable to use. The nightstand was sealed shut by two screws (why?).
Overall, a cheap and convenient place to stay, but not pleasant and it doesn't look like management cares enough to maintain it.
