Check-in was super efficient, they proactively helped with my luggage, and even thoughtfully provided tips for local attractions. The room was clean and tidy, with all the amenities one could need, making for a truly comfortable stay. I'm genuinely grateful for Shiyi Yileng's dedicated service; it's excellent value for money, and I'll definitely be back!

They were very accommodating with my requests for a high floor and a quiet, non-smoking room. The check-in process was quick upon arrival, and they even offered delicious tea. Breakfast was a buffet, so everyone could choose what they liked – very satisfied!

GGuest UserI initially chose this hotel for its downtown location, as it's a convenient 29-minute walk to tourist attractions, making shopping and dining easily accessible. After checking in, I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent service, including a welcome fruit platter, local pastries, and drinks. The hotel breakfast offered a great variety and was delicious. It was also a nice surprise to have food deliveries brought directly to my room by a robot, which added a cool tech touch. Upon check-out, the front desk even gave me bottled water and 'wife cakes' for my journey, which was incredibly thoughtful. Overall, I had a great experience at this hotel 😊.

GGuest UserIntercity Hotel has always been our top choice when traveling. The location is excellent, just a short walk to Daming Lake Scenic Area, making sightseeing incredibly convenient. Restaurants and transportation nearby are also very accessible. The rooms are spotless, and the bathroom's wet/dry separation is well-done, with a complete set of good quality toiletries. The soundproofing in the room is effective, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The staff are friendly and helpful, always quick to resolve any issues. Overall, the stay was comfortable and pleasant, and the price is very reasonable. It's perfect for both tourism and short trips, and I genuinely recommend it to everyone.

TTangshoudeyoutiaoThe front desk service was excellent, and the overall environment was pretty good. The tea and coffee were a nice refreshing touch. However, the room's lighting and curtains had some serious flaws. The motion-sensor light wouldn't turn off, and the curtains let in way too much light in the morning, which meant we adults didn't get any sleep. It was too late, and the kids were asleep, so we didn't bother calling the front desk – it would have been too much of a hassle. Because of the great front desk staff, I originally wanted to give 5 stars, but since I didn't get any rest, today's trip was exhausting, I almost had a car accident, and my mood is just terrible.

GGuest UserLocation is absolutely fantastic: This guesthouse is tucked away in Qifang Alley, truly offering a tranquil escape right in the heart of the bustling city. Just a short walk outside brings you to Furong Street and Quancheng Road, and it's super convenient to get to Daming Lake and Baotu Spring. Yet, the moment you step back into the courtyard, the city's hustle and bustle instantly fades away.
Courtyard experience: I was truly amazed the moment I pushed open the courtyard gate. The courtyard room comes with its own small private yard, complete with bluestone slabs and trickling spring water. It instantly felt like I was transported back to the misty江南 (Jiangnan) region. Sitting in the courtyard during the day, sipping tea and enjoying the breeze while looking at the mottled brick walls, was incredibly relaxing and pleasant. It was the perfect way to experience the laid-back lifestyle of old Jinan.
Room amenities: The room is very well-equipped and spotlessly clean. The decor has a sophisticated New Chinese style, which is both antique and elegant, yet with a modern, luxurious touch. It's also perfect for taking photos! The bedding is very comfortable, and the stand-alone bathtub is an absolute godsend for unwinding.

SSuzhoudaluI booked a smart king room, and the front desk staff upgraded me to a newly renovated suite from a few years ago. Since it was recently renovated, it was very clean – excellent! I always stay at Zhonghao when I go to Jinan; the environment is really good. Both the floor staff and front desk staff are very friendly. The breakfast offers a good variety, but it's not as good as before. The cleanliness of the tables really needs improvement; they were sticky and had oil stains.

GGuest UserThe location is incredibly convenient, just a two-minute walk from Beiyuan subway station, making it super close to Daming Lake Chaoran Tower. The hotel boasts a sophisticated Morandi style with low-saturation colors, which is very calming, quiet, and clean. The front desk service is warm and welcoming, and they even have robots for deliveries. Plus, there's free parking and a laundry room, making it my top choice for business trips or travel. I'll definitely stay here again next time. The soft bedding, smart toilet, and separate wet and dry bathroom areas are all fantastic bonuses.

GGuest UserReception, location and room are great for the price you pay. My gripe is with the breakfast reception.
We entered and told them our room number. Just before getting our food, the lady told us that someone has claimed the breakfast with our room number and we cannot eat here unless we pay extra for our meal.
Even though I insisted we haven't eaten and we are the actual occupants, the lady repeated a few times that the breakfast has been claimed and we can't eat. Eventually she relented when I told her to take a look at my friend who is clearly a foreigner and insisted that she check the CCTV.
I get that mix-ups are probably rare, but to immediately insinuate that we are thiefs who are trying to take advantage of (a pretty mediocre) hotel breakfast at an airport hotel is unbelievable. Especially given that my friend is clearly not of East Asian descent!
It left a pretty sour taste in my mouth. I don't know why the SOP isn't to make sure that we are the actual guests and give us benefit of doubt.

Pros:
1. Beautiful hotel with a well-maintained and attractive territory.
2. Easy and smooth check-in and access.
3. The cottages are located separately from the main building (about 500 meters away), creating a quiet and private atmosphere.
4. Rooms are spacious, clean, modern, and cozy, with fully working amenities such as Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and a projector.
5. Option to choose between a cottage with a jacuzzi or a private pool.
6. Very pet-friendly policy — pets are allowed with no extra charge or deposit.
7. BBQ facilities available; guests can use a grill, and the hotel can also provide one.
8. Convenience store in the main building with drinks and basic daily items.
9. Underground parking with EV charging stations, plus additional parking near the cottages.
10. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise — very diverse, with a mix of Chinese dishes and almost European-style options. Everything was tasty and plentiful, and there was a wide selection.
11. Guests can also take food in a lunch box to go, which is a great and very convenient option.
Cons:
1. EV charging infrastructure can be inconvenient at times, as the number of stations is limited and they may be occupied during busy periods, especially on weekends.
2. Food delivery is not available directly to the cottages — guests need to go to the main building to pick up orders from the restaurant. For us this was not an issue at all, but for some guests it might feel a bit less convenient, especially in bad weather or at night.
Overall:
A modern, comfortable, and quiet stay with excellent facilities and a very pet-friendly policy. We were pleasantly surprised by the breakfast and overall experience, and we will definitely come back again. A great hotel overall.
