The standard route forces you through an underground passage, constantly telling you you're going the wrong way. You can see the hotel's sign right above you, feeling like it's within arm's reach, but then you see the surrounding taxi lanes blocked by iron fences, making it seem impossible to get through – it's enough to make you lose your mind. I had to ask a passerby, a security guard, for help. Luckily, people from Shandong are warm and hospitable; he patiently guided me and even moved the fence so I could take the ground-level pedestrian path, which made it much closer. This short distance ended up taking over half an hour. After familiarizing myself with the surroundings the next day, I realized the hotel is actually just a 10-minute walk from the train station. The hotel looks tall, but the usable floors aren't very high. There are many tall buildings around the train station, so there's no real view to speak of, apart from air conditioning unit frames. There are plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby, making dining very convenient. The hotel environment is elegant and tidy, the front desk staff are warm and polite, and the cleaning ladies are meticulous and thorough in their work. The breakfast is rich, offering both Chinese and Western options, and the taste is quite good.

The Grand Metropark Hotel is in an excellent location, within walking distance of Daming Lake and Quancheng Park. The soundproofing in the rooms is very good, and the breakfast offers a variety of Shandong local delicacies. The service is thoughtful and attentive. It's definitely my first choice for travel in Quancheng. I'll stay here again next time.

I came to Jinan mainly to see Zhou Shen's concert, so I chose a hotel nearby. The front desk staff, Tom, provided service that far exceeded my expectations. He was welcoming, thoughtful, and very professional. He even prepared many small gift souvenirs for us. I highly recommend this hotel. I especially want to mention that my child's small doll was lost in the hotel lobby, and the attentive hotel staff kept it safe at the front desk. My child was overjoyed to have it back. The room was very spacious, and I booked this room type specifically because it had bathrooms on both floors. It exceeded my expectations – even the floor drains were covered with cute lotus leaf-shaped odor-proof mats, and there was an aroma diffuser on the sink with a very pleasant scent. Every detail in the room showed great taste, and the service was five-star. On the day of check-in, the front desk contacted me early in the morning to send me the hotel's location. They also helped deliver food orders right to my room door. The hotel's location is excellent; it's just over 100 meters walk to Furong Street, and through an alley, you reach Qushuiting Street, making it super convenient for exploring and dining. It's also an easy walk, about 800 meters, to Daming Lake and Wulongtan Park. Overall, highly recommended!

The location is absolutely fantastic, right next to Beiyuan Metro Station – you're there as soon as you exit! No worries about getting wet on rainy days. The room has a lovely, soft Morandi-style decor, very clean and quiet. You can easily walk to Daming Lake. I had a super satisfying stay and will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Jinan!
