2-Star Hotels in Koh Tao

We stayed for 3 nights, which felt like more than enough time before heading to Koh Tao. We had plenty of time to visit the viewpoint and take photos everywhere without the crowds of day-trippers. It truly felt like we were on a deserted island! The room had everything we needed: toiletries, hot water, a fridge, a kettle, tea, and coffee. Housekeeping was daily. Breakfast was included, even though it wasn't mentioned in the booking. For breakfast, they bring you a sheet where you mark what you'd like them to prepare (the menu is consistent, but you can choose how your eggs are cooked and your coffee – the coffee seemed to be instant). There are two restaurants on the island: one on the hotel premises where breakfast is served, offering European cuisine. The other is further down, near the 'spit,' and serves Thai food with more reasonable prices; day-trippers often ate there. Prices are higher than on Koh Tao for obvious reasons, as there are no shops. However, there's a free daily shuttle to Koh Tao and back, which is convenient for longer stays. For example, a 0.33L beer on the island costs 120 baht, a mango shake is 150 baht, and dishes start from 300+ baht.

Loved the hotel! They let me check in much earlier than the stated time without any issues. The staff was very friendly. The room was clean, and housekeeping was available on demand. They refilled the water bottles every day. The room had AC, a hairdryer, shower gel, shampoo, cups, and glasses. The hot water pressure was good, despite having an instantaneous water heater. The hotel is beautiful and well-maintained. There's a nice common area by the pool with sun loungers and tables. There are cafes and shops nearby. You can walk to the pier in 15-20 minutes, or get there in about 8 minutes on a moped.

Honestly best hostel in Koh Tao. Staff are fantastic there’s lots of hang out space and parking. The rooms are consistently spotless. Really made my trip. Would recommend no other hostel on island compared. I stayed in another before hand and it cost more for way less. They have a bar too with good prices.

The location of the hotel is very good. It only takes about five minutes from the pier. The sanitation of the hotel is acceptable, but the toilets are a bit shabby and cost-effective. It is recommended

Nice place to stay, it is on the more calmer part of the beach. The restaurant part could do more improvements, like basic English for staff and breakfast is definitely not value for money. You can find much better ones around. The room is spacious and clean every day. We enjoyed the pool as well.

The place was so nice and quiet. The place near the restaurant and the Main Street and easy to walk around 5 minutes and close to everywhere.The staff was so kind and nicely

Very pleasant place. Our room was comfortable and nice. Pushers are soft. Everything worked. The kitchen in this hotel seemed delicious for us. The sea is chic. Seen sharks, turtle and many other big fish. If you want to go to other beaches, there is an inexpensive transfer in the hotel. Enjoyable, polite people work in the hotel. Hotel was very clean and staff were brilliant, very helpful and close by to everything you need, the pool is also very good.

Hôtel très bien situé, près des commerces, restaurants et très près de la plage. Les chambres sont grandes cependant il n’y avait pas de salle de bain privées, il faut aller dans le couloir avec les autres clients. Une piscine est à disposition. Très bon séjour, je recommande pour un voyage entre amis ou seul.

Location is really good, right on the beach and right in town. Would recommend getting a bike here as you can park directly in front of your little bungalow. The bungalows are quiet but very small, the bathroom is also tiny and has a little shower right next to the toilet. The locks on the doors are also weird. I do think it’s slightly overpriced but overall we had a nice stay here.
