A wonderful place for recreation 🫶 lived 2 families from 25 to 30 December in the smallest villa, all this time with us were wonderful Steve and Muhammad. Steve took us all over the island wherever we wanted and took us from anywhere, thank you Steve 🙏Muhammed also took care that our rest was careless, helped to organize the washing, Organized us a tour to the sea 🙏ville clean every day, there is everything necessary for cooking food (we did not prepare TK on the sairi a lot of delicious cafes). I definitely recommend this place for rest, very atmospheric and comfortable, in the surrounding jungle ❤️

We stayed for 3 nights, which felt like more than enough time before heading to Koh Tao. We had plenty of time to visit the viewpoint and take photos everywhere without the crowds of day-trippers. It truly felt like we were on a deserted island! The room had everything we needed: toiletries, hot water, a fridge, a kettle, tea, and coffee. Housekeeping was daily. Breakfast was included, even though it wasn't mentioned in the booking. For breakfast, they bring you a sheet where you mark what you'd like them to prepare (the menu is consistent, but you can choose how your eggs are cooked and your coffee – the coffee seemed to be instant). There are two restaurants on the island: one on the hotel premises where breakfast is served, offering European cuisine. The other is further down, near the 'spit,' and serves Thai food with more reasonable prices; day-trippers often ate there. Prices are higher than on Koh Tao for obvious reasons, as there are no shops. However, there's a free daily shuttle to Koh Tao and back, which is convenient for longer stays. For example, a 0.33L beer on the island costs 120 baht, a mango shake is 150 baht, and dishes start from 300+ baht.

We came here based on reviews and didn't expect it to be this nice! Everything was perfect. This single accommodation has absolutely everything. Room: The room was very clean, and the bed was so soft and comfy I barely wanted to leave it – I slept so well! Staff: Everyone provided excellent service, always smiling and cheerful. They treated us like family or friends, recommending things without us even having to ask. Atmosphere: The surroundings are very peaceful. There's a private beach with plenty of activities: volleyball, table tennis, snorkeling, island hopping by small boat, jumping rock, and even scuba diving lessons. Kayaking is also available. They have so many services, all in one place! We'll definitely be back to stay again next time. #The accommodation is in Tanote Bay, towards the end of the island, but it's absolutely the best!

I want to leave a review about this hotel. The location is good; the only downside is the loud music in the evening and late into the night coming from the central beach. The room has all the necessary toiletries, including earplugs and razors. The bungalow-style rooms are the best thing here, because overall there are significantly more negatives. The service is not very good — the staff at the reception and in the restaurant seem indifferent. The beach is a bit dirty, with a lot of small stones that make it uncomfortable to walk. The sea is very shallow, and you have to walk quite far to get deep enough to swim. If you just want to lie around and relax like a hippo, it might suit you. The food in the restaurant is of a low standard. The room costs almost $190 per night, but the variety of food is very limited, and the products don’t seem to be of good quality. Cheese at breakfast was even served in its packaging. The only thing that really saves this hotel is the view from the room. We chose an ocean view. The hotel also offers free snorkeling masks.

The hotel facilities are decent and relatively new, but the service is terrible. The front desk wouldn't even lend me nail clippers, I'm not sure if they're just chronically broke. They charge an extra 3% for card payments and play dumb when it comes to refunds, probably because they used to be food delivery drivers. They arbitrarily canceled my paid diving reservation and changed prices whenever they felt like it, completely lacking credibility. Don't even get me started on the diving; the divemaster is Thai, and you can imagine his English skills. The equipment is very old. I had to go barefoot with the fins, even though I brought shoes that I couldn't use, and ended up getting blisters. The wetsuit was short-sleeved and short-legged, resulting in many scratches, while the divemaster himself wore a full suit and shoes. There was no boat for diving; they subcontracted to Big Bubble dive shop, which is why the price was higher than elsewhere. Where was the boat? 'Under repair,' you know how that goes. Service: I'd give it 0 stars if I could, but there's no option.

Very nice hotel with a superb view! The hotel offers a shuttle service to the port, which is very useful. The staff are incredibly friendly; we received a wonderful welcome with all the necessary explanations. They are easy to reach and perfectly meet all expectations! The restaurant is expensive but high quality and boasts a great view. Alternatively, there's an affordable restaurant right next door. The view is fantastic, but beware if you have reduced mobility; there are many steps between the beach, pool, rooms, and restaurant. Furthermore, it's a shame that you have to pay for snorkeling masks or other activities. For a hotel of this caliber, even outside an all-inclusive package, these should be complimentary. Regarding the cleanliness of the rooms, we believe it could have been better. A ferry ticket belonging to another guest was stuck on a wall, there was quite a bit of dust, and a dead gnat in the bathroom wasn't cleaned for three days. Otherwise, we had a very pleasant stay! We recommend this hotel.

I would not recommend staying at Sairee Hut Resort. The place is extremely run down. Our room had no hot water, the shower drain was clogged and overflowing, and mosquitoes filled the room, making it uncomfortable to sleep. However, what bothered me most was the resort’s treatment of animals. They keep wild birds confined in small cages out front, with barely any room to move, let alone fly. I’m not sure if this is cultural or meant for tourist entertainment since the birds can talk, but whatever the reason, it is cruel! Birds are meant to be free, not locked in cages for display. These birds were kept in the cages for the entire duration of our stay, and I can only imagine how long they’ve been trapped there. Overall, this resort was disappointing, both in its facilities and ethics. I would not stay here again.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 — Peaceful Romantic Getaway with Stunning Views We stayed at Taatoh Seaview Resort, bungalow S8, for two nights as a couple — and it was absolutely beautiful. The view from our bungalow was breathtaking — right over the turquoise water, with sunrise lighting up the bay. The sound of the waves and the peaceful atmosphere made it feel like our own private hideaway. The bungalow itself was simple but comfortable, with everything we needed: a cozy bed, fan/aircon, fridge, and a private balcony perfect for morning coffee or watching the stars at night. The outdoor area had that perfect balance of privacy and openness, surrounded by lush greenery and ocean breeze. The staff were kind and helpful, always smiling and quick to assist with transport or recommendations. The location is great — quiet and away from the crowds, but still close enough to Freedom Beach and the viewpoint trails. If you’re a couple looking for a quiet, romantic spot to relax, reconnect, and enjoy the natural beauty of Koh Tao, bungalow S8 at Taatoh Seaview Resort is perfect. We left wishing we’d stayed longer.

Beach Club by Haadtien

We had a pleasant stay at Beach Club by Haadtien, but with mixed feelings. The location is beautiful: a lovely bay in a peaceful setting. The room itself was fine and we appreciated the daily fresh towels (both for the bathroom and the beach/pool) as well as the complimentary bottled water. The food in the restaurant is also good, although we found it relatively expensive by Thai standards. At the same time there are several aspects that, especially given the price of the hotel, should be better. The sound insulation is very poor: you can literally understand what your neighbours are saying, and music as well as footsteps from the rooms above or adjacent are clearly audible. This makes getting a good night’s sleep more a matter of luck than comfort. In addition, the sliding door to the balcony did not close properly, which affects both comfort and the efficiency of the air conditioning which I thought was a pity, especially on an island where energy use should be taken seriously. Housekeeping and general maintenance could also be improved. In this price range, you would not expect to find squashed mosquitoes on the walls. The property and the room show signs of wear and tear in several places, such as broken tiles and damage to the floor. There was also quite a bit of plastic on the beach, although we realise this may not be entirely within the hotel’s control. The shuttle service to the village is a nice addition, but having to reserve it a day in advance makes it less flexible than you would hope. Overall conclusion: A beautifully located hotel with a good foundation, but it falls short in several important areas given the price. For us, this would be a reason to consider other options next time. Overall, we did not feel it was worth the money.

Pros : - Good hotel : start to be old but totally fine. - Staff was very kind (especially for breakfast ! Always smiling). - For those that think the hill is the problem, just take the scooter next to the room, restaurant and swimming pool is a good idea if you don't want to climb. - Amazing view - I got free late check out after my morning boat was cancelled. Very kind from them. Cons : - No tv in rooms, - They don't really remove leaves from the swimming pool, - You can try to call them... No one pick up the phone (I called literally 30 times at the pier to get a shuttle for 100thb/pers) Cause the fake ”taxi” was 500thb for 2kms. The reason : the front desk (where the phone is) is closed so the reception is at the restaurant (but no phone there). They could transfer calls to a mobile phone... But no. - It was written that there was a free shuttle going to the pier at 4pm... I was expecting to see it arriving at 4:20-30pm.. nothing came.
