GGuest UserA wonderful place for recreation 🫶 lived 2 families from 25 to 30 December in the smallest villa, all this time with us were wonderful Steve and Muhammad. Steve took us all over the island wherever we wanted and took us from anywhere, thank you Steve 🙏Muhammed also took care that our rest was careless, helped to organize the washing, Organized us a tour to the sea 🙏ville clean every day, there is everything necessary for cooking food (we did not prepare TK on the sairi a lot of delicious cafes). I definitely recommend this place for rest, very atmospheric and comfortable, in the surrounding jungle ❤️

AAnonymous UserThe rooms have a rustic design but are full of thoughtful details, reflecting an eco-friendly and holiday-oriented concept. The hotel assigned us a very private room with a balcony overlooking the entire bay, and we even had occasional visits from small animals. While there isn't a private beach, there's a small pier within walking distance where you can swim and snorkel, and the water here is much clearer than the sandy areas next door. The hotel restaurant was a pleasant surprise; both the Thai and Western dishes were excellent, so there's no need to go out for meals. A exquisite and private hotel, highly recommended!

GGuest UserThe hotel matches the description: a cozy bay, good service, tasty breakfast, and a great location close to nature. We came mainly for snorkeling, but during these two days there were small waves and poor visibility — something impossible to predict. The forest bungalows with one bathroom shared between two rooms are tiny. We booked both rooms since there were three of us, and that worked fine, but sharing the bungalow with strangers would be questionable. Soundproofing in the bungalows is weak. We could hear a lot at night — frogs and other wildlife were singing all night long. Bring earplugs if you need silence. Breakfast was delicious, although some items listed on the menu were not available. Dinner in the evening was also quite good. The transfer picked us up from the pier and brought us safely to the hotel. We used the same transfer on the way back, but it was paid — the hotel offers one free ride. On the beach, there are indeed very few sun loungers and chairs for all guests. There are a couple of nice cafes on the beach for variety, but during the day many tourists come and it can be hard to find a place to sit. Overall, we had a great two-day stay.

GGuest UserWe stayed at Dusita Buncha for 6 days. Our room had a sea and pool view. The room was spacious, but there weren't enough shelves for small items, so all our little things ended up in bags in the corner. The bathroom didn't have a shower screen. We also heard the constant noise of water pumps. They offered us a room on a higher floor, but it had the same issue. Some people might not notice it, but I got used to it over the days. The mattress and pillows were comfortable. The fridge and air conditioning were a bit loud, but again, you get used to everything. We ended up sleeping without the AC. The hotel has beautiful grounds, but I wish they'd take better care of them, especially clearing trash and dirt from the pathways. The sea had lots of coral and fish. We took a boat to Nang Yuan islands, which cost 300 baht per person for a round trip. The gym smelled strongly of rubber, so I couldn't use it. Unfortunately, they didn't provide water bottles or towels for our child (6 years old). The staff were friendly and responsive! Dining at the hotel restaurant for lunch and dinner was a bit expensive, so we went to neighboring cafes instead. My suggestion would be to create a small kids' room or playground, as there's plenty of space on the hotel grounds. Also, having some board games would be a nice addition.

JJlilley⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 — Peaceful Romantic Getaway with Stunning Views We stayed at Taatoh Seaview Resort, bungalow S8, for two nights as a couple — and it was absolutely beautiful. The view from our bungalow was breathtaking — right over the turquoise water, with sunrise lighting up the bay. The sound of the waves and the peaceful atmosphere made it feel like our own private hideaway. The bungalow itself was simple but comfortable, with everything we needed: a cozy bed, fan/aircon, fridge, and a private balcony perfect for morning coffee or watching the stars at night. The outdoor area had that perfect balance of privacy and openness, surrounded by lush greenery and ocean breeze. The staff were kind and helpful, always smiling and quick to assist with transport or recommendations. The location is great — quiet and away from the crowds, but still close enough to Freedom Beach and the viewpoint trails. If you’re a couple looking for a quiet, romantic spot to relax, reconnect, and enjoy the natural beauty of Koh Tao, bungalow S8 at Taatoh Seaview Resort is perfect. We left wishing we’d stayed longer.

JJoPutthalaPros : - Good hotel : start to be old but totally fine. - Staff was very kind (especially for breakfast ! Always smiling). - For those that think the hill is the problem, just take the scooter next to the room, restaurant and swimming pool is a good idea if you don't want to climb. - Amazing view - I got free late check out after my morning boat was cancelled. Very kind from them. Cons : - No tv in rooms, - They don't really remove leaves from the swimming pool, - You can try to call them... No one pick up the phone (I called literally 30 times at the pier to get a shuttle for 100thb/pers) Cause the fake ”taxi” was 500thb for 2kms. The reason : the front desk (where the phone is) is closed so the reception is at the restaurant (but no phone there). They could transfer calls to a mobile phone... But no. - It was written that there was a free shuttle going to the pier at 4pm... I was expecting to see it arriving at 4:20-30pm.. nothing came.

AAnonymous UserI stayed in the garden view room for 10 days. There is a pretty good sea view through the trees, but you do have to climb up some fairly rickety stairs to get up there which won’t suit everyone. PD is only 10 minutes from the pier, but it’s a very hilly journey and it does feel a bit remote, although Chalok beach is a rugged 20 minute walk and has shops, banks, restaurants. The room did feel a bit overpriced as did the restaurant, but the food is all very decent. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and contributed to a very pleasant stay. Overall we had a very nice time but if I went back to Koh Tao I might have to stay somewhere more accessible, but if you want peace and quiet and you’re a confident bike rider or don’t mind a walk for getting around I would definitely recommend PD.

GGuest UserGreat location (just be aware, music till midnight, and one night till 2:30am) close to everything you would need. Great restaurants/places to eat and drink all around. Beaches amazing. Pickup and drop off from the pier a great service (don’t forget the 20B for the tourist tax at the pier, lot of people taken by surprise by this)
