Not top of the line facilities but this is made up by easy location both to airport and downtown, as well as superb services.
No food is served however, and the stay could be frustrating at times when electricity brownout comes twice a day (not hotel's fault, it is a Joburg municipality issue).
Overall, agreeable experience for this stay and great value for the money!

Such beautiful gardens.Very safe for solo travel. Kind and generous staffwhiare always willing to help with transport, activities and breakfast. Serene and quiet. Beautifully done rooms. Stunning nail bar and such incredible charm. Would definitely come back!

Stayed at HOY on a business trip and found it to be an ideal choice. The room was immaculate, well-maintained, and featured a comfortable bed, spacious workspace, free Wi-Fi. The guest house offered excellent amenities, including convenient parking was a must for me, and a refreshing lounge area to do my work undisturbed. Its proximity to nearby business hubs and conference centers made commuting effortless. The staff were professional and accommodating, catering to my business needs. House on York Guesthouse is a hidden gem! The rooms are cozy and stylish, and the staff is super friendly. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home. Such a beautiful guest house. I had a lovely holiday with my family. We were kept warm and were given lovely treats. Lovely quiet and beautiful gardens. The service here is wonderful and we were given transport. Thank you for a lovely holiday.
