City Center of Johor Bahru
Very suitable for families with young children. They have free shuttle at few places on scheduled timing, but more convenient to drive by car as its away from the city. Carpark is behind the front of the hotel but staff was very helpful to show us with map on how to get there in 2 minutes. Overall, the room is clean BUT there were 2-3 table tops which were sticky, we had to clean it ourselves, looks like sweet residue. There were also ants on the sink area & wall in 2 single-bedded bedroom. We are glad we had the privacy of 2 separate rooms, but we kept them opened. There is no view outside the window but we are okay with it. We still like it though as staff were very prompt, polite & helpful. We can feel the hospitality. There is a reasonable size gym with variety of equipment but no swimming pool. Maybe during checkout can remind us to let the counter tap our Touch & Go for complimentary parking, luckily there were many posters at the lobby to remind us to do so. Breakfast buffet was included, the spread is reasonable and the food was good considering its included in the room. Thumbs-up for the price which trip.com offer with my coins. Thank you Holiday Inn Express & Suites JB, we will visit again soon.
