We were sent to this hotel for the “relaxing week in a 4 star hotel” as part of our trip with RSD Travel Agents. It was in no way 4 stars, I would be hard pushed to even offer it a 2 star status. It was run more like a military establishment, with all the rules of does and don’ts. The food was disgusting, breakfast a particular nightmare. Boiled eggs black when peeled, trays of half cooked cold fried eggs brought out from somewhere. Not even any fresh cooking although there was a “show cooking” hot plate. Lunch and dinner was always pork or chicken, shortage of decent vegetables. Deserts never varied, there was no ice cream. There was an absolute ban on any foodstuff in the lounge area. Don't even attempt to take a dink up to the bedroom. We paid for the “Premium All Inclusive Package” £288 each. Daylight robbery, the only spirits were local whisky, vodka, gin and some sort of rum, that was it, nothing else, so like it or lump it. The wine was drawn from a big plastic barrel, no variety, take it or leave it. The glasses were washed in a dishwasher at the excuse for a bar, and there was such a shortage of them, you would often have to wait for the dishwasher to be emptied and the glasses were red hot. If you wanted a kettle for your room, that was an extra £10 for the week. The indoor pool was filthy, the filters were not working. The gym wasn’t open. Complaints were met with couldn’t care less attitudes. There was a price list of everything in your bedroom with the replacement price for anything you damaged e.g. £40 for the tiny peddle bin in the toilet. Also, £10 if you lost or broke the keycard. All in all, we were treated with disdain
