Pegasa Pils Spa Hotel

Firstly, if you are going to stay at this hotel, you and all your travel buddies must to have their ID or passport, because the hotel staff is making copies. However, the staff was nice and helpful. Hotel has a free parking so you do not have to care where to leave your car. Secondly, what really disappointed us was a room. We have been taken a suite in a tower. It is the most expensive room they have. Behind the sofa we have found a used shower cap, that means the staff is not really careful with cleanness of the room. Also our room had a doors to the other room. The doors were locked, but we clearly could hear what people were talking behind. The most hilarious thing was that Tv was hanged in the corner of the room from which you are not able watch it if you lying on a bed or sitting on a sofa. Thirdly, we do not recommend you to buy a private spa time. The private spa place had a bad smell because it is underground and has a bad ventilation. Jakuzzi was so dirty that you could easily feel sand below your feets and oily walls around you. Also glasses of wine were left from the day before. A steam bath and a shower had a strong smell of a fish. Only sauna was in a good condition. What we do like was a breakfast. It had omlet, bacon, pancakes and etc. It was tasty and fresh. All things considered we do not recommend this hotel if you are demanding for cleanliness, because all furniture are old and already dirty. The relation between the price and the quality is also bad.

A wonderful summer vacation at the hotel. We were very lucky with the changeable Latvian weather. We ordered a suite. We were pleasantly surprised - a huge terrace with sun beds for relaxation. Also in the room there is a kitchen with a dishwasher (the first time I saw this) and a large number of plates and glasses and other kitchen utensils. I was very pleased with the cleanly cleaned room and the excellent attitude of the staff. Relaxing at the spa is a large swimming pool where you can swim perfectly. It is to swim for pleasure. The pool has three lanes of about 25 meters. And two baths. There is also a small outdoor pool and sun beds. It was a wonderful weekend. thanks
Baltic Beach Hotel & Spa

A beautiful beach hotel, with a variety of restaurants in the glass room. It's the best hotel to take a holiday in the Baltic. There are not many restaurants around, and you cannot swim at the beach, so the major activity is to sit in the restaurant and enjoy seafood and drinks. You can refer to this photo for the seafood platter of this hotel.

The hotel is really friendly to the Poles and many of them decide to stay in it. The hotel itself is very pleasant, although it is certainly not perfect. Its advantages: very close to the sea and beach, quite a large choice for breakfast, spacious and large rooms and for a family of 4-person two-level, nice reception service, good location in general (2 bus stops to the center of Jurmal, you can walk to the train and underneath the hotel there is a bus stop). Minuses: total parking lack and you need to search and combine parking spaces every time. The hotel itself is all over the street. Breakfasts are very monotonous, for warm food practically uneatable, no salads, forever the same jars. Very large minus for cleaning, and in fact for its lack. Emptying the trash basket once a day and adding 2 towels do not count as cleaning. I have not heard the vacuum cleaner throughout our stay, and at the very beginning after receiving the room, it was not vacuumed enough unfortunately. The cleaning is definitely a cramp. There is a daily purchase of 2 euros (which applies to all hotels). Overall, the hotel is nice and well located, but still a wide area to improve.

The hotel reception was polite, but the SPA reception...No words.. First thing we found when we came in to the room was used/smoked stick from iqos, that fell from side of the bed, disgusting.. Then came the two little blankets for a couple instead of one big blanket. Broken curtains, that are impossible to open. It wouldn’t be so sad if we hadn’t had paid 180€ for this stay. Let’s say - we couldn’t wait to get home. Sad, because we used to love this hotel.
